Yeah, I think art really helps people visualize what to expect. Especially with superhero rpgs.drkrash wrote:I'm in for a copy also.
I want to get some of our own art done to post here; I've noticed that, on this board, nothing generates interest and enthusiasm for a new book like some art samples.
Actually, I'm hoping to do more than 4. At the moment, I've been working on these character stats for both ICONS & G Core. I may do 4C versions to be included with the G Core one (since they are both direct descendants of FASERIP). After that, the goal is to hopefully produce versions for BASH, Supers!, V&V 2.1, M&M 3rd, and possibly for D6 Powers Revised and Expanded. I might also consider M&M 2nd and Savage Worlds as well. If Spectrum Games ever gets Capes, Cowls and Villains Foul released, I hope to do something for that game too. The main plan is for ICONS, G Core, BASH and Supers! versions to be released first. If those do fairly well, then I'll see about a V&V and M&M 3 version. The rest would come after that. After that, I'd go with a case by case basis, after seeing if the game's publisher is ok with what I plan on doing (I all ready have the ok to do stuff for D6 Powers, so I would just need someone to help me with the stats)drkrash wrote: urbwar, if you don't mind saying, what 4 systems are you publishing for?
Yeah, I'm being very ambitious. I figure that there's no sense thinking small with digital publishing. All these games embrace 3rd party publishing for the most part, so why not tap into that?
Sorry for the long winded reply; all the positive feedback everyone's given me in this thread is making me a little giddy. I just hope when the book comes out, it lives up to all of your expectations.

You are absolutely right about taking advantage of the multiple 3rd party publishing...though I honestly hadn't given it a moment's thought until I saw Aslan do it.
I guess with limited resources, it comes down (for me) between using those resources to generate a new product vs. making an existing product available for other games. If I did my own layout, it would be a much easier decision. But alas, I do not.
Cool. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to the continuation of this mini-BASH bloom!

Not a lot of money in it, that's for sure.

Got 2 new sketches to share!
First up is Super Punk. He's a punk rocker with a Mohawk and a strength enhancing exo-skeleton:
This will likely be modified, as the original image it's based on had the exoskeleton on his legs as well.
Next up is Eon, the Time Twister. This villain is one incarnation of a villain who appears in different eras of the loose setting I am developing. He has high tech gauntlets and a helmet, but his main device is the sundial that allows him to travel through timelines, and can allow him to manipulate the flow of time around him for various effects:
Hope you like!

Yes, her name is Hoarfrost. I didn't want to use a more typical name for someone with ice/cold powers, and that one works well enough for me. I'm not overly concerned what people like that will thinkSaker wrote:The sketches look great. Is she really Hoarfrost? The name could send maturity-challenged men into a giggle fit.
