We've been doing called shots, hit by 10+ to free her from the ApeBot. Also, if you chase after the ApeBot, please indicate which square you move to.

Overdrive slams into the ApeBot's battered steel arm, dropping Dr Mortinson. Again. She lands with a thud and winces in pain.

She reaches out and slaps the robot's leg. "What the * is wrong with you!?!" she screams in frustration at it.

Fenris is next!

"Fenris, grab an electric wire," Nyx says, "Nycto, protect the scientist, when Fenris has the wire, we'll use my water to conduct the charge at the ApeBot," Nyx stands a little uneasy, unsure if the others will bother to take heed of his word or not.

Fenris looks at the new water guy with a you think too much look. He grabs Overdrive's discarded I-beam and hops down next to Magilla: L23.

"We call this high-sticking," Fenris roars and tries to remove the head of the robot from his shoulders.

Called Shot to hit for +10 damage. +1 DM damage for the I-beam. If he hits and does good damage, I probably use that hero die to end this fight.

The steel beam rings violently in Fenris's hands as it strikes ApeBot's head. But for a cracked panel, the heroic blow doesn't seem to slow the robot much.

ApeBot takes 12 hits.

Javier rushes over to join Dr. Mortinson and Overdrive. He raises his arms, wreathed in flames, and yells to his teammate, "Take her away! I'll try to hold him off!"

The tattoos glow, the heat making them look as if they were rising out of the skin, and the sickly smell of burnt flesh fills the air.

[Javier attempts to form a Force Field around the Apebot. Small Burst (since it's bigger than a normal person), 40 Hits, x3 damage if touched. He'll use the Extreme Effort option, taking 30 Hits to gain 3 Hero Points, getting the necessary Hero Die to have the FF come up immediately (or after Nycto's attack, if possible).]

What the... thinks Nycto as the Apebot launches itself into the air.

He follows it, apearing near one of the groves trees.

Again his shadow tentacles form into a huge blade that tries to finish the large robot.

Nyx hops off of the building, rushing towards the ApeBot, and lets a stream of water rush out of his canteen, and veer off towards the scientist. The stream gently wraps around her waist, lifts her up, and pulls her up and away from the machine, putting himself between the two.

End movement on I25, and use Hydrokinesis on the Dr. Mortinson to lift her and move her to H25.

I will resolve Nycto's attack first, then Javi's, and last Nyx's. Javi will need to make a Mind contest against ApeBot's Defense to trap him.

A wall of fire leaps from Javi's hands and surrounds the ApeBot who howls its synthesizer howl of rage.

Nyx commands the water to grab Dr Mortinson who shrieks in terror as she is lifted from the ground and deposited behind the young nova, dripping wet and exhausted.

You all hear the crack and groan from the ice, but the BuzzBot is held a bit longer.

The ApeBot pounds a metal fist against the flames, but the flames hold as well. Fenris, you've seen how quickly it can move and you're suspicious why it doesn't strike again. Instead, it slumps to the ground, crackling and hissing as its body rests against the flames, unmoving.
