"And the legion flee in disarray!" Overdrive boasts, clapping his hands.

Noticing Fenris's rush and Jason's teleportation he adds
"Really guys? That share of *-whoopin was not enough? Hostages are safe. End of the story innit?"

(Overdrive holds. Any idea what's that high-pitched buzzing is? Captain Mosquito?)

Clutching his wound, Javier watches the retreating mobsters and his teammates' pursuit. He's happy to see the last of the would-be kidnappers but not particularly motivated to call the chase off.

He contents himself with moving quickly over to the warehouse they've just left to find if any of the goons left over is up for a conversation.

Javier's mouth splits into a mirthless grin at the thought and the eyes in his lizard tattoos glitter in anticipation.

[Protheuz]

The fire waves makes the light dance around, and the shadows tremble. The shape of Nycto wavers and reforms several times, making him appear even more insubstantial, staying similar to smoke.

He says to Fenris "Don't hurt him, so we can make questions." motioning to the grabbed thug.

He teleports to their front (20 sq should be enough) and orders them "Drop your weapons and Surrender!"

I'm assuming minions don't roll Mind Def either; I don't want to bother anyway, so Def 7. Can Protheuz or Saker send me the intimidation rules again? I want to print them out to have on hand and can't find where Bashman posted them.

Volsung, I don't believe Fenris mentioned the noise to anyone else and Overdrive can't hear it anyway.

Outside in the parking lot:

After a few furtive glances at one another, the five mobsters drop their guns. The sixth in Fenris's grasp begins to sob, "Please don't eat me man. Please don't eat me."

Back inside the office:

Overdrive and Javi look over the broken and bloodied bodies of the goons. It's hard not to be amazed at what you and your pals have accomplished in, what, 10 seconds? Overdrive, you're about to ask Javi if he's ok, seeing the ragged hole and bloody wound from the gunshot when you two hear a slow clapping.

Spinning around, you see the tv is on and a thin moustached, balding, skinny man is looking out at you from the screen, clapping in a rather obnoxious way.

"Man you guys are good. That wolfman dude? Awesome. And the shadow guy, now that's some trick. You know, I'd love to have you guys on my team."

"I don't think so a** h***," fires back Javi.

"I didn't think you'd go for it. Oh well, where's Ten Chin Tony? I don't see his fat butt laying around. Yo Tony! Get your greasy a** out here and do your job!"

Glancing at each other in confusion, you hear a toilet flush from behind the door in the northwest corner of the room. You hear the thumping steps then the door bangs open. The biggest, fattest, sweatiest man you've ever seen steps out, a box of fried chicken in one hand, his other trying to pull his pants up, all the while a chicken leg sticking out of his enormous mouth.

"Yah boss?" he mumbles as he finally secures his pants, oblivious to the scattered bodies around him.

"Ten Chin Tony, these boys don't know how to stay out of my business."

"That ain't good boss," he replies as he crunches through a chicken wing, devouring the bone and all in one massive bite.

"No, it's not. How about you teach 'em some manners Ten Chin."

"Gladly," says the enormous man, tossing aside the empty box. He steps on an unconscious goon, an audible crack sounding out as he accidently crushes his chest. He doesn't seem to notice and continues in a slow, lumbering gate towards you two, hands the size of basketballs flexing at the thought of tearing you two apart!

Overdrive first, then Javi. The rest of the guys can respond to the fight next round!

[Volsung]

"No way?! You were taking a crap during the beatdown?
And I'm sure you didn't wash your hands!
Your mother...god bless her, she must be one proud mother to have given birth to such a big boy...She never teached you the sake of hygiene?"
Overdrive jokes, grimacing.
"There's no way you'll touch us with those filthy hands!"
Suddenly he grabs the tv set and throw it at the chubby little chap.
(I guess that's still only +0DM .I really need something heavier)

"Well, f**k me Louise," Javier pauses to state in awe as he sees the lumbering behemoth makes his appearance before scrambling out of his reach.

"You like spicy food, Gordo?" he calls out as he lobs a Fire Blast at Tony.

The man in the tv yells, "Hey, don't do that! I want to watch!" just before Overdrive hurls it at the behemoth. Ten Chin swats the tv set aside, smashing it with his massive paw. (0 damage)

Javier follows up Overdrive's attack with a fiery blast. Ten Chin howls in pain as the flames scorch his grease stained chest (3 damage).

His face red with anger, the blob of a man slams his two hands together, causing a thunderous crack to sound throughout the warehouse.

If you fail, at the start of your turn, you will need to make a 20 Mind Check to act on your panel.

Everyone outside hears the crash of the tv. Looking at the office windows, the sound is followed up with a flash of flame, a howl of pain, then a thunderous clap that shatters all the windows in the warehouse!

Fenris drops his mobster and spares a glance at him, "I won't eat you today... I've had my fill of gangsters."

With that, he turns and blurs back into the warehouse. He sees the behemoth and attempts his same routine of grabbing him.

I may have flubbed Ten Chin's last two rolls since I don't have the rule book nor my notes on Tony here with me. If he rolls higher from here on out, that's why; I aimed low when trying to recall his stats/powers. I can't wait to get back home! Lots of Chimera related goodness ready to go now!

Last time I tried using one, I was told we had none. I recall us being awarded Hero Points at one point, but not a Hero Die. Did we get one somewhere along the way?
