Fenris stealths over to Javier's Chevy and knocks quietly on the driver-side door to scare the cr@p out of him. Javier sees him grinning from ear to ear, "hey boys. I guess crazy cr@p attracts us." Fenris says letting himself into the backseat. "Now where?"

Jason opens the door for Fenris, "Don't know, Overdrive took off in a hurry though. We should probably find him."

"Very funny, hijo de perra," grumbles Javier, still nervous about the police presence.

"What the * is Inkblot over there doing?" he mutters, looking anxiously towards Nycto and the cops. "*, what the f**k are we doing here?"

"Hey, wasn't Overhead carrying one of my burners?" he asks, turning to look at Jason. "Call him and tell him we got fuzz on the scene and that he should go meet us someplace else."

As he sits, tapping impatiently on the steering wheel, he continues to complain. "Man, this is so f**ked up. A house gets blown up with us in it, a plane blows up in the air, a rock-man decides to trash a Wal-mart. What else can go wrong?"

When it's his turn, Jason will take a phone and dial up Overdrive.

(I would have posted sooner but I was quite overbooked today )

Overdrive casually sits down on the roof, still keeping an eye on Nycto's negotiation.
//Whatever...He can teleport in a blink of an eye at the slightest alert...He's grown up enough to handle this...//
He sighs. Around him, the wind carries a snow made of burning ashes. Several hundreds of people had died above his head and it was irreversible...
Having a look at the car he cracks a smile.
//If I join them in a leap I guess it could shake the fuzz a bit...//
He backflips in the back-alley away from the police watch.
Reverting to his old self, Harrison tries to reach the car nonchalantly.

Protheuz: The captain stares at you, eyes cold and his hand steady, pistol now pointed at you. "He's a murderer, and you're under arrest. Sergeant," he motions to the two men behind you who step forward and grab your arms forcefully.

"Please sir, put your hands behind your back," one of the officers says to you quietly, his voice quivering a bit. Fear? Anger? Hard to tell.

Everyone else: I'm not ignoring you all, just letting the scene run it's course. I also don't have any expectations about your course of action, so if you guys want to wait things out, it's your call. As you all begin to gather at Javi's car, you see that things are going rather poorly for Nycto. One cop has his pistol leveled at his chest while two others have grabbed his arms, apparently trying to arrest him!

Volsung and Boost: Overdrive, your phone begins to ring as you make your way over to the car. The number indicates it's Jason.

Unaware of the situation, Harrison picks up the phone and declares with a faked accent
"Naan n' Curry Cuisine at your service my good man!"

(If he jumped in the back-alley, that means he tries to reach the car by a parallel street doesn't he?)

Looking at the cuffed cop Nycto thinks quickly I'm his only hope of escape. .

Nycto gives his hands. The handcuffs slide and fall into the hands of the sargent.

Taking a deep breath the shadowman turns to the captain and with a dark deep voice, and his eyes shinning "Think man! I know all is changing , and you are grasping to the procedures as salvation." the sahdows waver around Nycto "How do you expect to arrest me? How do you expect to catch novas like al'Malik that can explode in your midst, and not die... You want to follow procedures and forget Law and justice??? If not for helping him, i would have gone. I'm trying to do the right thing..." and in a milder voice "You were saved by him and me."

OCC:
I supposed the cop tried to put handcuffs on Nycto, but due to his ghost form they fell.

Then Nycto gives his speech with an intimidating look

Javier stares anxiously at the scene unfolding a block away.

"Ohhhh, man," he groans. "Looks like the s**t's getting heavy. Why doesn't he just get the f**k out?"

It's obvious he's struggling between the instinct to be somewhere else where there aren't cops and the reluctance to leave a perceived teammate behind.

"Javier, relax." Fenris offers from the backseat. "Nycto's in no danger. That's why I left. They can't physically affect his shadow form, and he can teleport out whenever he wants. I would have stayed but he can't teleport others, and my arrest would be messy."

"Let's just watch, and see how it goes. Where's the metal guy?" Fenris asks as non-menacing as you think he can.

Javier is not reassured. He points a thumb at Jason. "J-Man there is trying to catch Captain Trojan before he jumps into that mess."

He hesitates a second. "So Night-Light won't be * if we take off without him?" he asks. "'Cause hanging around here is so totally not conducive to our continued health."

He turns to regard Fenris. "What happened to you anyways, man? We'd dropped you off at the diner. Did they pull some 'No Pets Allowed' s**t or something and kick you out?"

"I've got no bloody idea about what's going on. I guess he contributes with the law in a civil manner. I'm sure he's got a good reason. Moreover he really has nothing to fear from them." Harrison continues, walking.
"What are our friends doing here anyway? The explosion lured them too? Or there's no place that is safe?"
