"Well if we trusted Mama B," Fenris offers, "we should trust the Doorman. That's the direction she sent us."

Fenris tries to remember the approaching high-pitched whistle from Mama B's. Was it coming down like a bomb or sideways like a missile?

Sorely relieved , Harrison give the phone to Javier.
"Thanks a lot chum.I breathe again " he says.

The whole superhero thing I guess.

Reading the message on Nycto's phone , Harrison can't help to smile about that line.
//Listening to police scanner? Good idea I guess it would be more effective than an improvised patrol.//

"From this message he is a Nova like us. What do you think? Should we trust him?"

"We've got to...That's our only lead...We must meet him. I believe in Mama B's last worlds...Besides aren't we the kind of badasses without fear?" He jokes.
His cheerful side had gained the upper hand again.

After showing the message to the others, Nycto uses the phone to browse Novatube for Mama B. and explosion and

watch the movies there, seeing if:
1- He can see what kind of movies are there (TV, homemade, aftermath of the explosion, the explosion itself, etc)
2- He can identify if it was a bomb or missile
3- If he can see anyone suspicious around the "accident" site

Eyeballing at Nycto's research he adds
"Brilliant! With digital now everyone can film anything and act as a reporter nowadays "

With a touch of concern, Javier asks, "Anyone catch a shot of us in those videos? Last thing we need is the cops having pictures of us."

(waiting on Dustland to know if the Vids bring any info. Then I'll write to The Doorman telling him the tale of Mama B and the 5 Novas... We really should get a name for the group.)

Protheuz (and everyone else):
1. There are three videos related to Mama B, Dead! All of them look to have been filmed with cell phones and all simply show the burning house and the gathered crowd. One vid seems to capture Javi's truck in the frame for a moment, but the quality is so poor, he can't even positively id it.

3. After viewing the videos a few times, one thing does stand out: a black (or some other very dark) colored tahoe is seen parked a few houses down. Considering the run down nature of Mama B's neighborhood, it stands out to the point that all of you were sure it wasn't there when you guys left. Once again the image is in and out of the frame within a second and you can't make out a license plate or anything else about it.

Saker: Hard to tell really, though you didn't hear an engine of any sort that you would expect from a missile. But what does a prof. know about these things?

Javier's new outfit (which strangely seems not that different from what he was wearing before) covers most of his body, but the tightness around his eyes and the stiffness of his posture belies his injured condition.

Fenris speaks softly, "I can't return to my life. I got on this ride when I left for Mama B's." Then the light makes his eyes shine for a second like a wolf in moonlight, "... and those that killed Mama B must die."

Fenris grins barring his overlarge canines, "Fenris took my profession from me and can't return it. We can talk about what you have in mind, because I need to earn some cash to survive."

Jason winces at the fact that he's the only one to hesitate, I could get myself and Sarah into a lot of trouble doing this... But we could be in even more trouble if I don't, He finishes his thoughts out loud, "I don't believe I can afford to not to be in this all the way... just... I'm not powerful on my own, I have to borrow abilities from others. If we get into heat, I need one of you guys to stick close..."

"Well, it hasn't hurt so far," Fenris replies first. "You should experiment on how long you can hold a charge and if it depends on any factors," he offers in an oddly academic tone.

Javier chuckles, "Heh, mi chica says the same about me."

He has the grace to look momentarily embarrassed.

Once Jason says his piece, Javier clears his throat and says, "Okay, so we're all in on this. We can trade phone numbers or something so we can keep in touch. Nick-toe here can set up the meet with this guy and let the rest of us know the time and place."

He scans the group with his eyes, "Anyone got somethin' more to add? Otherwise, I can give you guys rides to wherever you need to go."
