I posted what I have in the Info thread. I would use my avatar for a picture. I've larger pictures, because someone cut it down for me.
A mental malfunction of considers himself the guardian of centropolis from all magical threats.
If I could rename him from Professor Magic, I would go with Dr. Mystic. But I was thinking of using that as a plot-line with the New Centurion media, because the character doesn't care much what the media call him.

Well looks like I am gonna have to call this one as dead.
Sorry folks, but between real life (school and whatnot), working on my projects and everything else this has slid to the lower reaches of my priority list.
My apologies to you all for this, but I hope you understand.
Some awesome characters were made here and I would be really impressed if someone wanted to pick up the idea and run with it.
Heck I might even play in that if I could.
As for running it though, just no time to devote to it
Sorry and thanks again for the time.

Don't worry AslanC, that's perfectly understandable.
A single game is already quite a commitment. With your projects it was difficult to juggle with all those activities.
Thanks for your honesty.
True, that would be great if someone could GM.
With my new job , my forum access dropped significantly . I won't be able to fire posts at will anymore :/
I could barely reach one post a day
I still 'become acclimatized' to my surroundings

I wouldn't mind running a more traditional supers game for you guys/gals, but I don't think I'd feel comfortable with this particular setting/campaign.
If anyone's interested let me know, I can sketch out what I have in mind. We would have the same "cast of characters", but redone at a lower point total with a tweak to the overall background. The players would come in shortly after Day Zero, the day supers are first created.

[If there's further interest, I'll start a new thread so as not to clutter this one and provide more info about the setting.]
This is based loosely off the Gestalt: Hero Within setting. One month ago, the Event happened, a surge of some unknown energy swept across the world, interacting with some people in such a way that made them living embodiments of some idea that they reflected at the time of the Event.
Some people became linked to a natural phenomenon such as fire or weather. Others an emotion such as rage, and still others occupations like burglar or doctor. A character should be able to describe what he/she reflects in one word, and their powers must be a derivative of that word(archetype), and they must exlpain what the character was doing at the time of the event that linked them to that archetype.
For instance: The Elemental
Archetype: Stone
The Event: Sam Michaelson was working at a rock quarry at the time of the Event. An earthquake struck, burrying Sam under a pile of stone just as the Event's invisible energy passed over him. Rather than being crushed to death, Sam was transformed into living stone, allowing him to survive while several of his coworkers were crushed.
Just as easily Sam could have the archetype miner, or indestructable, or teleporter even. Obviously not all who were touched by the Event were involved in such tragic accidents. A scientist may have been desperately working on a medical breakthrough, or an acrobat may have been giving the performance of his life when the Event transformed them into something greater than human...
Thoughts?
