Once again the whip's coils hold and the wolves snap their teeth against your hide; though painful, the bites are not serious. Unexpectedly, the leather bounds slip from around your arms. You quickly turn to Redtooth and see that he's dropped the whip and has drawn a wickedly curved sword.

"You two currs aren't worth a headless cat, be the Red I swear it's so. Very well mutt, I'll kill you myself," he growls then swipes his blade at you...

Redtooth slashes at your furry head:

[Am I correct in my perusal of the rulebook that there are no parry/block rules? Humph.]

Kerbi frantically swings his polearm in an attempt to deflect the approaching blade.

Kerbi uses the momentum to swing the glaive right back on Redtooth's skull.

[Did you want to use your dodge and soak rolls for both attacks aimed at you? If not, roll to dodge and soak against the two wolves' attacks]

[I think parrying/blocking are considered part of the Dodge roll. If you want to use your action to make an attack roll vs an opponent's attack roll I'll allow it, but you'll be using your action for the round]

[Okay, I just wasn't sure if there was a way to improve Kerbi's ability to avoid getting hit as an action.]

[It's pretty well all or nothing in BASH; I don't even think there's a "full defense" option; the way I'm rolling, i wouldn't worry too much!]

Redtooth's curved blade shortens a bit of the hair on the crown of your head, illiciting a bark of anger from you.

Once again the two lesser wolve's attacks appear half-hearted; they seem even more hesitant to commit to an all out attack now that you're free of Redtooth's bonds and look as though they may bolt at the first opportunity.

Redtooth dodges your cleaving strike:

Redtooth nimbly slides to the side as you swing your glaive with all your might, the blade whistling through the air but failing to strike the light-footed wolf.

"Flank him you cowards," Redtooth instructs the two wolves who are quickly losing interest in fighting you. Despite their reservations, they circle behind you and with a barked signal from Redtooth, they launch into a coordinated attack!

The pack attacks!

Kerbi performs a frenetic dance as he tries to avoid being wolf-piled.

He slams the butt of his glaive on the ground and uses it to vault himself out of the deadly circle, landing behind one of the lesser wolves and using him as cover from his compatriots.

[I'd say vaulting over someone falls into the superhuman category, so 30+ to succeed]

You attempt to vault to the far side of the pair of "lesser" wolves but you find yourself sprawling on the ground atop one of the startled lupines.

"I'm going to skin the both of you!" Redtooth yells, saliva flying out of his maw in his rage. He grabs the still standing wolf and throws him in the direction of the strung up rabbit.

"Cut 'em down and get him back to the den," he commands the wolf who stumbles to regain his balance. Before you can get to your feet, the wolf has the rabbit in his hands and is fighting with the knotted rope tied around the poor animal's ears.

Redtooth swipes at your head as you are momentarily distracted by your efforts to regain your feet while standing on a squirming wolf:

Kerbi attempts to dodge under the wolf leader's swipe and roll to a stand next to the wolf intent on absconding with the captive and swings his glaive to prevent him from succeeding.
