In my game, I'd probably say that the searcher has a -2 dice penalty to the perception check, since it is relying only on sound, etc. But even if it succeeds, it gives no more than a general idea like "she's to my left somewhere". Basically, you just hear the scuff of a shoe or whatever, not enough to pinpoint the location of the invisible character. And the stealth roll would qualify for the Move Silently specialty (if you had it). But that is just how I'd do it...
If you don't want the fight to end, Curio could try to conjure something like magic fairly dust / glitter to attempt a Nullify on the Invisibility. But that would probably take another 10 hits to push your Conjuration to allow a magical effect. Or instead of Conjuration, maybe you can do it with Animation. Maybe animate all the dust in the room (it's an antiquities museum - of course there is dust! ), and have it swirl around, giving a Nullify Invisibility effect? Animating a volume of dust (which is not exactly a single object) might be a bit questionable, something up to the Narrator whether he'd allow it.

I really like the magic dust idea, except I can only have one item of power. Earlier on in the fight that would of been a great idea.
I like the dust idea but as animation require concentration I would need someone else to do the attack.
I think we did pick the two most complicated characters to play.
But it’s been a great learning curve.

Later that night 52nd Precinct
“I am telling you Sir he was here I locked the door myself”
“Have you been drinking Officer, people don’t just disappear from locked prison cells?”
In another shadier part of the town.
As the cowled figure strokes the death mask with an uncomfortable lust he turns to one of the large suited men who hands over the case to the women. “Your fee as agreed Spectre” he says without looking up “you have served me well my dear, very well indeed”......

"No the concentration is only needed to turn it on.
Sure, that sounds like a good limitation to have. What to call it though- can't be "concentration" obviously. How about "Requires Focus"? That might sound to someone like you need an item to use it. How about "Disruptable"?
Of course you can always just make "Maintained" a Limitation for powers that are regularly "Sustained".
so i think you just have to concentrate to get it started
