OOC: Front-Runner gets 3 panels due to his super speed.

Front-Runner will attempt to run towards the mayor and grab him before the blast reaches him. [Move+grab=1 panel]

Then run far enough away from the blast at top speed to avoid either of us, taking any damage from blast. [2nd panel]

Then, if he has time, he will create a whirlwind blast by spinning his hands to push the explosion away from the others. [3rd panel]

Of course! You know i'd use my hero dice in such a situation without hesitation. A Life is at sake

But are you really sure that hero points are added 'after the multiplier'? After all , during character creation, 2 hero points are worth the rise of one stat, or the price of a minor power. Since the hero point pool is only refreshed every game session I think the hero point effect is quite poor compared to the investment.

Anyway, sure I'd take the 10 hits on trust!

From page 14 of the rulebook;

Any number of Hero Points can be spent from the pool in an issue to add an equal Result Bonus to any roll. So if a character fails a dice roll by 3, she can spend three of her Hero Points to turn the failure into a success!

Tiger-Girl is buried under a pile of rubble, and the Narrator says she needs a 30 Brawn check to get free. Tiger-Girl rolls a 27. With a roar, fighting back the pain, Tiger-Girl pushes herself, taking 30 damage to give her the +3 she needs to get out.

OOC: Re-doing my action for page 1...

With Zero's warning echoing through the garage, I start looking around for the source of the danger. As the blast wave sweeps towards the mayor, I grit my teeth and try something I've never attempted before...

OOC: I'd like to use Kinetic Energy Mastery to reduce the power of the explosion and to redirect it away from the people, major structural elements, etc. I will use the Push rules to add one level (making it Mastery 5) at the cost of 10 Hits. [bash="Mastery Attempt"]5,1 = 322602466 [/bash]
