Unknown Soldier was a minuteman in the American Revolution who died for the cause. He has no recollection of his mortal life other than this fact. He rose from the grave to defend American liberty from a new and terrible threat!

I've always been kinda iffy on characters with "mysterious origins"- especially undead ones because if there's something that needs a very good explanation, is coming back from the dead. That said, I really liked the character's ghostly powers build.

No; his Invisibility is not "always on"; he can simply disappear when he doesn't want to be seen.

He looks like a Revolutionary War Continental Army soldier, but his face is a rather nondescript ghost face, and he also is wearing a domino mask.
