Great! I just voted for it. AP are the best Powers sourcebooks I've seen since the Ultimate Powers Book for the Marvel Super Heroes RPG.

Yes, I agree. I can't wait to see how BASHMAN is going to package these up into a, or several, print book. Even though I've pledged at the level to get the print version, I'm surely going to buy it again! Hopefully it will be through RPGNow's POD service.

I believe the plan is for the series to have 12 books? Those could be reprinted in one book for about 30$, especially if repeated material (like the random generation tables) is used only once. Another way to reduce the cost would be to remove all the example characters- honestly they belong in other books (maybe they too can be published in their own book, with their missing backgrounds added.)

Well here is what is tentatively planned.

First there are to be 18 volumes, not 12. So yes, still a long way to go (and #10 on Light & Shadow is underway). I thought about printing a Volume 1 and a Volume 2 if people would rather do it that way than in a single book; but that would mean people would have to choose to pay shipping twice essentially if they go that route.

Second, the default print book will not be color. That wasn't the plan at the time of the Kickstarter (it wasn't feasable as POD at the time)-- but there will be a color *option*. So if you pledged to receive a print book, you can choose the B&W version or upgrade to full color. If you upgrade, you'd only pay for the printing & shipping cost, not a cent more (This fulfillment option also didn't exist yet at the time of the Kickstarter; but it worked quite well for Legends of Steel).

Third: Getting it all to fit. This will be a challenge. As originally planned, each volume was intended to be much shorter; only a few pages. Instead I really expanded above and beyond the original plan. I have a few strategies to deal with this:
-- Alphabetical Listing of powers-- Listing all the powers by power suite & category would add a HUGE amount of page length to the book.
-- Revisions & Consolidation -- Powers that are almost exactly the same would need to be consolidated and revised. There are some powers that belong in more than one Power Suite and this would be noted in the description.
I would also likely cut some of the advice sidebars. Some power descriptions would be re-written for sake of clarity and to save space.
Not every single art piece will likely appear in the full print version as space will be at a premium (and some art was commissioned to fill white space in the volumes).
I do plan to include the character write-ups, as that was part of the stretch goals-- but it would probably be 2 characters per page, and 1 character per Power Suite. However another idea might be doing it as printable cards; where the statblock is on one side, and the picture is on the other.

That's a great plan, BASHMAN; glad to hear you will have 18 volumes as there is still a lot of ground to cover. What is the full list, if there is one?
