Some new stuff from Joe. These aren't final colors, and are just flats, but it gives you an idea of where they're going after the sketch phase. The alien on the left is from the same race as D'anar. Joe originally did this image as the legion trooper, but that race aren't average troops. However, I found a use for it (along with some other older sketches Joe and I felt didn't work for the original concepts they were sketched for). He's part of a group in the vein of the Guardians of the Galaxy

The purple suited figure in the middle is an agent of Dirae, an all female organization.

On the right is Major Meteor. Inspired by Captain Comet, he's a hero from the 50's who left Earth for the stars, and has become somewhat of a legend among the races he's encountered.

2 more collages of art from Joe Singleton

In the Cosmic Collage we have the Denovian with somewhat darker colors, the Elder Evil with the staff that controls T'al Zagoth, the tentacled aliens who serve it, Antarra the Queen Bee of the Antarrans, and a revised Major Meteor (with a slightly patriotic color scheme to his costume)

Image

In the second collage, we have a to be named villain (this was the original design for Kestrel), the villain Jolt, the Dirae agent with a red camo color scheme, and an unnamed vigilante (this was based on a sketch Joe made for Mister Midnight, but I wanted to keep his original look)

Here are two space scenes based on more material Joe sent me. We've got a Legion cruiser encountering an organic ship from an unknown race.

Then we have a War-Hive of the Cataclysm Swarm, surrounded by some fighter craft

Seems Joe wasn't finished, as I have some more images to show off.

This collage features a new take on Graak (originally designed by Kris Smith) as a legionnaire, Cataclysmus, and a legionnaire from a shapeshifting race

Image

Then we have Manta Ray, which is some stock art by Storn Cook. Joe did some goons that serve him for me, so I wanted an image with them together:

A lot of new art in one day!

Four more:

A renegade queen who rebelled from the Cataclysm Swarm, a suit of powered armor, an Aztec Mummy and the vigilante Mister Midnight

Joe recolored the renegade Swarm Queen, and colored the Cataclysm Swarm Queen and War Drone. So here's a composite of them alongside Cataclysmus

Besides original art, Joe Singleton is also doing coloring jobs for stock art I've purchased. Here's a collage of some really old pieces that were used in the Foundation rpg (the first D20 supers game).

Notice that the art has a very old Jeff Dee/V&V art style

Here is the renegade Swarm Queen in red, two Thals (a race descended from Neanderthals abducted millenia ago by a now dead race) and an updated legionnaire with helmet:

Yup, Same Mi-Go from the Mythos.

As for what book: I'm planning a book called "Astounding Space Adventures". Not sure if it will be one big book, or a series of smaller ones. I have a loosely collected setting, and these characters all fit into it in various ways

I basically commission a lot of art ahead of time, then write material for them as time permits.
