Hi Guys,
So my Tarzan type player has obtained a belt that can enhance:
Strength
Agility
Heal
Though as it is a street level campaign I don't want it too powerful, so the attribute bonus is +1 only, lasts for a short-time and can only be used so many times a day.
I am thinking if he is willing to take damage maybe he can use it more.
Regards,
Steve[/code]

Boost Brawn 1, Agility 1, Heal 1.
With Boost you define the circumstance in which the bonus applies. In this case, especially for a Street-level game, the Boost could be something like [Only for Combat] so the character would not be able to lift more or jump further or suddenly get an extra skill slot and a higher skill multiple, but would hit harder and more often.
You could also place a limitation on it. Activation, Burn-out, Energy Cost or Finite all look good for this. Burn-Out also has the option to 'Push Yourself' to use the power after it has burned out.
If Boosting stats by an entire multiple is too much, you could use Heighten Brawn and Heighten Agility limited as above instead. I did this for a street-level NPC, Adrenalynne, who would get a charge out of risky situations - Heightened Brawn and Agility. The +3 Result bonus was a good fit for a 21 point character, giving her an edge over mooks and such with stats much like her own.

Big Steve UK, I am working on something right now for Awesome Powers 6 where the concept is a "Single Gadget that does multiple things". This isn't a multi-power necessarily; it is basically several powers that share a single focus. This means that they also can share Charges, Hits / Soak, and various other properties between them.
I would put the Charges limitation on it. What I've done is make it so the base # of Charges is increases by 2 for each additional power that has to expend charges. So if there are 3 powers that use charges, the item would get 15 total charges to share between the powers. This would be PER USE. So each time you use the heightened Brawn (let's say for 1 Panel) it expends a Charge. Each time you heal with it, it expends a charge, etc.
That character's name is Tavistock, right? Maybe I could call the item "Tavistock's Belt" and use it as an example?

Cheers for the prompt responses.
The principle is that Tavistock has been raised by survivors of Atlantis (Antarians), who escaped to a another dimension/alternate reality. Their technology is crystal based, the person is injected with a crystalline formula that allows them to act as a conduit. So the crystals are like a battery, their body is the cabling and they can use it to power devices and tech. Tavistock had a belt which contained one of these crystals, but lost it when he returned to earth to uncover his past. Over the campaign he has recovered two of the 3 pieces. The first came from an engineer who was using it to do short range teleport, the second was recovered from Zoroastrian the Great, who was seeking an Atlantian war machine.
We are on the last but one season , so I wanted him to get some enhancement from recovering it. Also they have a big fight on there hands when they return as The Pandora Club has been disbanded in their absence!!
So I decided he could drain some of the power from the crystal, to improve his physical attributes (so x3 to x4 strength and x2 to x3 agility) and heal, but in a limited way.
I like the new option it sounds like it would fit well, I just need to be careful as to not unbalance the game. One of the characters Ms Stevens got a new alternate personality (The Scarlet Rider), who is a bit uber hard, but the nice thing is the player isn't a power gamer and is playing the character in a sensible way. Though her *-fire spewing pistols annihilated my pirates last season!!!
Lol good memory, that would be great!!That character's name is Tavistock, right? Maybe I could call the item "Tavistock's Belt" and use it as an example?

Hi Chaps,
Based on your feedback I went with this:
Tavistock’s Belt 2 pts
Boost 1 - Brawn (1pt)
Boost 1 - Agility (1pt)
Healing 1 (1pt)
Battery (-1pt)
Rules
The crystal in the belt acts as a battery with 12 energy and can be used to power the abilities listed above. Each time you activate a power it drains 1 point from the battery per panel (a panel being a complete round). So for example if I wanted to enhance my Strength and Agility by 1, I could activate them at a cost of 2 points per panel. Once the energy reserve has been spent, the abilities cannot be used till the battery is recharged. The battery will naturally recharge 1d6 points per day, you can also exchange 1 Hero Point to recover 1 energy, (don’t forget you can push yourself to gain a hero point).
