One more using this technique, a gunfighter! If I could do one supplement, it would be a weird west game, love me some gunfighters!

And kudos to you if you know what album this picture is based on!

Not quite a gunfighter, but in the same genre. His eyes are supposed to come across as diabolical but there's not enough detail on this scale. Well, enough playing around, back to illustrating Bad Sports (which is getting very very close to completion!)

Thanks guys. I just got the rough copy of the book and it looks really cool. I can't wait to playtest it! I also need to start converting the material to BASH so I can send it to Bashman for approval.

I've begun replaying Borderlands and I decided to start putting together some concept art for a BASH style version. I love the western themes, the sci-fi element is cool without being overwhelming, and there's room for some level of supernatural weirdness (Siren anyone?)

Well, here's my take on the ever present scag, the Rock Hopper!
Image

They come in various sizes but are universally aggressive, strong (they burrow through solid rock!), can leap astounding distances, and have a venomous saliva that paralyzes its victims (the better to eat you with!)

Enjoy...

Well since I'm not sure if the illustrations I did this spring for the BAM villain article will ever see the light of day, I thought I'd post one of my favorites. It's lacking a lot of detail and I had to edit her to make her more "pg", but I hope you all still like her!

Demona...(at least that's the name I have in my notes)

Yes. Demona. That was a great illustration! You had a number of really cool illustrations for that project.

[Ah, BAM villains. Will you ever see the light of publication? I keep hoping...]

Woo hoo, almost done with the art for Bad Sports! (unfortunately I saved the most difficult pics for last, lesson learned) Here's a pic that's not directly related to the adventure but is in the book.

This is actually a sampling of characters from our game that Mr E runs here in Austin. The top two are Mr America (an idiotic over the top paragon type) and Firefly (a magic weilding pyro pixie that doesn't quite understand how human society works just yet). They are my characters in the game and have been a blast to run.

Bottom left is MJ (Magnetic Jynx), aka the most dangerous ally you'll ever have. I've been knocked out by the lack of control of her powers more times than I've been laid low by villains. But every once in a while she earns her keep....I think.

Last is a Mexican wrestler turned superhero named Sancho Libre, the funniest character I've ever encountered. As far as I can tell he has no real super powers beyond being a wrecking ball in combat, but he THINKS he has powers. So he rolls up a random power and during the course of play he pretends that he has that power until it becomes obvious to him that he doesn't have it, then rolls another power!

I know retelling of other's games can be boring but let me tell you, having a Mexican wrestler superhero running around thinking he has Super Digging powers is * funny!

A generic super outline for anyone who wants to color in their own hero. Hope someone finds it useful!
