The Doorman stops to think about it for a bit, scribbling notes and equations on a piece of paper. "Um, hmmm. Well, in my uh professional opinion, no. You see...." and he trails off into a monologue of tech language well above any of your understanding."... and do you think shooting the original Eckle with Captain Marshall's depower gun would resolve the Eckle plague?"
The best you can figure from his explaination, he thinks Eckel is creating new links between the Chimera particle stream and his victims. If Eckel is out of the equation, the others are just going to go on being crazy novafied-Eckels themselves.
"Hah, cure. No cure metal dude, but it will absorb the Chimera particles, turning the nova "off" for as long as the capacitor is still working."If that gun can't solve the problem, can it cure a single infected at least ?
And do you have any spare one, by chance?"
"No, the only gun we made was given to the captain. As far as I know, the feds probably siezed it when they cleared out the lab at the police station."
The scrawny kid takes a few nervous steps away from you, "Good boy, stay." You bare your fangs and growl, causing his limbs to shake visibly."Where's the lab, kid?" Fenris growls. "What's the best way in, and where's the control room? We don't have all day here." Fenris pants in impatience.
"Ok, ok...remember when we first met, you guys were on the lower slope of Copper Mnt at the abandoned mine. If you keep going up that road about two miles, you'll come to a gate. Another mile past it is the facility with another gated entrance. You can't miss it, it's covered in radar dishes and is the only damned thing out there."
