A 'flying defense boost' for 2pt.
Imagine, if the dirty munchkin that I am would take that good old danger sense he'd have
+2x priority +2x defense all the time! And even some hints about dangers... That means Danger sense is way too cheap!

Anyway does that new build works?

Or your boost is narrower than it has to be (which may or may not be appropriate).

Considering the archetype examples in the book range from Boost Mind With One Power (demi-god, living elemental-water, etc.) through Boost Mind With All Powers (Stellar Sentinel), it is clear that Boost can have a fairly broad range of acceptable criteria, depending on the concept.

If it fit the concept, I'd probably allow Boost Agility 2 While Flying, which is more valuable than just Boost Defense 2 While Flying, and that means Danger Sense isn't too cheap but just about right. :) That's really the narrator's call, though. It seems like the intent behind boost is that it should apply maybe half the time (since it effectively costs half the price as buying the stat normally), but may be more limited than that depending on the concept - ie, you don't have to optimize it if the concept only requires something that applies a quarter of the time, etc.

Considering you're not flying all the time, and you can be knocked out of flight any time you take damage (Flight is a maintained power, not sustained, unless you take the Second Nature enhancement), I think you could make an argument for Boost Agility 2 While Flying, if that fit the concept. But really that is going to vary from Narrator to Narrator.

Looking at it another way, if the concept fits just boosting defense while flying, it should only cost 1 point for +2 defense:

Boost requires that is only usable in certain situations, but that doesn't actually count as a limitation; it is an inherent element of the power. So you can still apply another disadvantage to Boost, like making your Boost Gradual (ala the Hulk) or whatever.

So Boost Agility 2 For Defense Only is a legal power according to the book. That implies Boost Agility 2 For Defense [Limitation: Only While Flying] would be 1 point, not 2.

Sounds good, reeeaaal good.
But boosting agility would mean I could 'shoot' more accurately when flying.That's a bit unlikely don't you think?

Yes, which is why for your concept it might be better to go with Boost Agility 2 Only for Defense [Limit: Only While Flying] for 1 pt.

if you gave him the gadgetry advantage he could have
blaster pistol range 15 ,12 shot, *3dmg 0pt
by using the energy weapon rule from page 24
