Bouncing and Regeneration?
I didn't see anything like bouncing (e.g. Speedball) or regeneration (e.g. Wolverine) in the powers list? Did I just miss them? And if not, how would you all go about doing bouncing and regenerating? I saw that there is "healing" which could work for regeneration I suppose (with the elimination of the need for concentration). But regeneration in my mind also includes the possibility of regrowing severed limbs etc. (not that severed limbs happen often in this game....hmmmmm). And I wonder about bouncing. I guess bouncing could be bought as a form of super leaping. But leaping is based on Brawn and not many of the bouncers from the comics (e.g. again, Speedball, Mr. Fantastic, Bouncing Boy) are super strong. I don't know...your help is most appreciated.

For Bouncing, check out this thread (starting at the linked post and going down the next few posts after that).
For Regen, check out this thread. Basically, Armor (and/or Boost Brawn - Soak Only) can be interpreted in many different ways, like all Bash powers. It represents damage mitigation, not necessarily just the Thing's rocky hide. So anything that increases your soak score can be defined as fast combat regeneration, your ability to be hit, take the damage, and shake it off almost immediately. When the character gets hit, don't describe how the bullets bounce off, but instead that he's hit, damaged, staggers for a moment, then they miraculously heal! And then used the Healing power to represent longer, slower healing for things that exceeded the capability of his fast heal/soak. This approach actually works really well, without adding the balance issues of allowing non-concentration Healing.
Speaking of which, the powers that have inherent disadvantages (Force Field, Super Speed, Healing, etc.) have them for balance reasons. You might want to be careful about buying them off, and if you do decide to buy them off it might cost more than 1 point.

There is work being conducted on a "powers" companion type book. Until then I would say make your own ingame enhancment. Being familiar with champions you could make it like 2 pts to buy off concentration. Like buying the time scale equivlant. Add another enhancment "can grow back lost limbs" maybe one point there. Maybe even 2 more points to make it reactive or sustained. It's your call. Playtest it and put it in the "Labratory" forum as well. Dont pay attention to my enhancement point cost. Play around with it and see what seems balanced enough for your campaign.

Wow, great ideas guys. I really like the idea of Wolverine's type regeneration represented as armor + healing. I wouldn't have thought of armor being used in that way. But it makes sense. Also, I like the idea of "buying off" the concentration requirement etc. Very cool. I'll likely come up with something and post it in the lab as an experiment. In fact, maybe I'll just stat out and old skool version of Wolvie and post him in there.
Btw, I dig Phantom Doodler's bouncing power that he created. Can we get that put into the "Awesome Powers" book?
Btw, re-reading healing, I do see that it really is for personal use. I actually thought it meant healing others at first glance. How funny. Which leads me to a side thought, how would you all build a power for a hero who has the ability to heal others? Would that be with the "affects others" enhancement?
Already I LOVE this game!
