Hi Guys,
Say someone entangles you in some gunk (Venom) or a tentacled best grabs your leg (Kraken). How do you handle your characters cutting themselves out? So this could be vs wrestle or immobilization attacks.
Regards,
Steve

Cutting your way out is something the rules do not specifically address; it has to be up to the Narrator to adjudicate. If I made it the official rule you can just cut your way out by doing damage, it makes Immobilization and grappling much less mechanically useful.
In the case of a Kraken, however I build them (and hydras and similar beasts) so that each tentacle is a Minion and the body/head is a Villain. So you literally can cut through a tentacle to break free because each is counted as a seperate creature with its own Hits. But I would not let you do that necessarily if you were being grabbed by a person.
If you want to make some sort of situational thing for your own campaign though, feel free to do so.
