Healing

Post by Overdog »

I am new to the game...and love it but I think Healing is way too good so I want to tweak it down a bit. My initial thought is to change it from a normal attack power based on MIND to just 2d6+ your MIND Score X your level in Healing.

For example, if you have a MIND of 2 and a Healing level of 3 it would be (2d6+2) x3 for an average result of 24 and a max value of 42 rather than 2d6x5 for an average result of 30 and a max result of 60 if played as designed. It is still very powerful in my opinion but keeps it more in line.

Anyone else have an opinion on healing?

Healing is not based on Mind. It is JUST your Level in Healing.

So if you have Healing 3, you heal 2d6x3. Note that is also just yourself. If you want to heal others, you need "Healing 3 [Usable on Others]"

Thanks for the response...again I am new to it so I just assumed that any power is based on stats. Good to know healing is even more balanced than I thought.

BTW...best super system I have ever played and I have been playing for 30+ years.
