"It's not a cure sir, at least not yet, but with only a few weeks of research going into its developement, I'd say we're doing pretty well," Dr Walker beams a big smile at you. His smile slides from his face as he registers your scowl.

"Without getting too far into a quantum physics lesson, it redirects a special particle that we've named the Chimera particle that is normally attracted to people such as yourself, novas as it were, and draws them into this storage device. So you are somewhat correct agent, it doesn't permanently remove the effects of the Chimera particle, but we're working on that.

"We haven't had a lot of opportunities to test the device; Mr Golduski here is the first chance I've had to see it in action. I'm hoping that you can help us advance our understanding of the Chimera and in turn, I do believe that I will find a permanent solution that doesn't involve such an invasive procedure."

You notice The Doorman has wandered off and is talking into his cell phone, glancing back at you and Dr Walker.

"Yah, sure. Hmmm," he scratches his balding head as he stops to think. "No reason you can't talk to her in here, there's no cameras, other than the one watching the door. Do you think this is a threat of some sort? Should we be evacuating or something?"

"* yah, bring her here!" the younger guard blurts out. "What, she's hot!" he defends his outburst to Mr Jacobs. Not seeing him budge, he turns to you two. "Seriously, she's hot guys."

You two hop in (Nycto's?) car and head over to Dr Mortinson's NovaTechInc temporary offices. On the drive over, Nyx's phone rings.

"Oh *, it's Mike."

"Mike?"

"The Doorman," Nyx replies as he flips open his phone. "What's up Mike?"

"What the * is wrong with your furry friend? Fenris is over here asking my boss to cure him. A cure?!? He's a frackin' super hero and he wants to * it all away because he has to shave too much? You need to talk to him! No, wait, did you talk him into this? This sounds like some dumb * plan of yours. Please tell me you didn't do this Al!"

Nycto can clearly hear the nasally, high pitched voice of the Doorman screaming at Nyx through his phone.

Fenris nods... with his regular scowl. "I'm interesting in returning to normal. I'm not interested in being a guinea pig that could make my situation worse, so we'll discuss anything that you want to try on me. But expect to answer a lot of questions of potential consequences. How do you want to proceed?"

"Mike, * off!" Nyx replies, "I have nothing to do with it, but if Fenris feels he wants a cure then you have no right to intervene. Guys like Fenris and I don't get to take off the f'ing tights and go home to Lois Lane, we're labeled freaks where ever we go. Now if you bug me about this one more time, then remember seventy percent of the human body is water, and I don't like you!" Nyx hangs up the phone before he hears a response, "Sorry Nyct, that guy needs to be reminded of humanity. He doesn't listen too well to calm reason. I believe we were heading somewhere."

If Fenris is still near Mike, he most definitely heard Nyx's outburst...

"An evacuation? No I don't think so. That'd would be premature"
He answers with a feigned confidence.
"Please could you bring that nurse here ? We just need her testimonial . In the meantime we'll try to locate that source"

(He tries to phone the Doorman again and if necessary he leaves a message this time. Something like 'Overdrive 's here ,we're at 'whatever's' hospital. Someone his hacking their security cams and never let us out of his sight. We'd like you to track them down)

"Apparently Fenris was asking questions about a cure or something," Nyx answers, a little red in the face from his out burst, "Mike's all * cause he thinks I talked him into it. I think he's romanticized this whole being a Nova thing, thinks it's some kind of gift."

Javier exchanges a glance with Overdrive.

"Well, thanks for the warning, guy. We'll make a note of it," he replies archly to the young man's outburst.

He turns to Mr. Jacobs. "You're welcome to stay, sir, but we'd prefer a certain level of privacy," he says, pointedly not looking at the assistant. The tone of his voice is at odds with the streetwise persona Overdrive had seen him portray up to now.

Your sensitive ears catch The Doorman's tyrade, and Nyx's response. You ignore it for the moment to listen to Dr Walker. "You have no reason to trust me Agent Fenris, but I'll say it anyway; if I thought for a moment that I would be putting you or anyone else in danger, I wouldn't proceed, ok? That being said, no one knows exactly how this Chimera particle interacts with people.

"As of now we know one thing, we can divert Chimera into a containment system, thus negating its effects. Based on the fact that Mr Golduski's (Rockman) containment system is still intercepting Chimera particles at a steady rate, we assume that turning it off will return him to his "Nova" form., but we're not sure.

"Obviously we can't turn his system off for fear that he'll go berserk. He seems to be suffering from some severe emotional trauma, linked to a mine collapse in Poland at the time of the event so we can't trust him. If you're willing, we'd have you hold a containment disc for a few moments, then have you let it go to see just how quickly the Chimera finds its way back to you. Who knows, it may not. What do you think?"

The Doorman answers this time, in a whispered but obviously irritated voice. Before you can ask about the cameras he whispers, "Overdrive, you calling to get cured too? What the * is Fenris's problem? You need to talk some sense into him, now!"

Oh and your danger sense is not reacting to anything.

The young guard sighs as Mr Jacobs tells him to take a break. A quick phone call upstairs and a few minutes later the nurse arrives. You must admit you understand the younger security guard's infatuation once you see her.

After a brief introduction she smiles at you weakly. "Well Agent Esposito, what can I do for you?"

Nyx and Nycto: You two arrive at the office building, a site not too far from the warehouse district where you did battle with Ten Chin and the goon squad.

You see a large number of conventional construction workers hurry about an adjacent warehouse. Not a single robot is in sight...but a few well armed and armored men are patrolling the grounds. They look very much like a SWAT team or spec ops outfit, complete with body armor, helmets, and M4s.

You are immediately approached by a detail of four men as you approach the office entrance. Nycto, you immediately notice the NHSC badges on their shoulders where a soldier would have their native flag.

After flashing your badges and explaining you want to talk to Dr Mortinson about the incident with the robots, they bring you into a waiting room.

After a rather long wait, Dr Mortinson comes storming into the room, a detail of NHSC operators following her in then taking up positions around the room (their guns are all holstered but they're obviously here to make sure there are no problems.)

"I am incredibly busy agents, what do you want?" she asks sharply as she taps her nails impatiently on the table that stands between you two and her.

"I understand you were attending Tony Gucchi during his stay here, Ms...?"
