Anyway, he's strong and incredibly resilient at first sight.
Hitting him with 'an improvised weapon' ,(Which I'm not sure can be added to the damage of a special attack supposed to cover any kind of brawl), won't make a strong difference unless I burn some hit points or hero dice/points to boost it.
If the wall of fire can't trap him at least I can keep him busy so he does't attack the wallmart.

I could try to simulate a power that trick his mind by burning an hero dice (stunning, dazing him)

I don't know what Javier's got up his sleeves but Jason...my friend, my brother, my other self...copying that guy can be a good asset!

On another subject, Protheuz, Boost do you got some pictures to portray your characters?^^
Like we did earlier in the thread?

Night at Nyctos - What happened so far

These are the copy of the PMs that I and Dustland traded:

- The last scene ended with Nycto drinking whisky in his sofa looking at a picture on the wall, with the TV on -

You're sitting in your chair, flipping through channels to keep the ghosts of your past from visiting when you land on NovaChan (You First Choice for Nova News!). They are covering a rash of plane crashes over the last two weeks. A picture of a young middle eastern man appears on the screen, handsome, fit, clean shaven, very "western". Nothing like you might think a religious zealot might look (and you've met, and neutralized, more than your fair share).

They give his name as Adam al'Malik, an American by birth but a recruit to some unpronouncable religious extremist group that trains men to die in the deserts of Yemen. They continue to show images of him boarding three different planes on three different days under assumed alliaces. All three planes exploded in mid-air. Had he dies in the first blast, he'd have never made Nova News, but the fact that he keeps coming back has a great many people worried.

A Nova suicide bomber that can't die, that's not good, just as a loud blast and flash catches your attention outside (cont.)

You run to the door, thinking perhaps they (whoever they are) are taking another shot at you. Looking outside, you see a brilliant fireball in the sky high above, trailing burning debris that is beginning to hit down around your place. You step outside to watch the display, trying to figure out what exploded. A piece of wing lands a few feet away from you, answering your question.

Just as you're about to head inside to avoid the falling debris, another flash lights up the night sky, blinding you for a moment. Suddenly a few yards away in the street is a crouching man, who slowly rises to his feet, looks at the fiery wreckage, then gives a cry of praise to his god, sending a chill down your spine. It's not the first time you've heard that battle cry, and you hoped you'd never hear it here in America.

The man turns slowly, a smile on his face as he watches parts of the plane fall around him. You see his face illuminated in the fire light and street lamps; Adam al'Malik!

Nycto instinctly transforms into his shadow self, with the darkness of the street rounding on his body and waving with his fury.
Killing in America… You’ll pay… thinks Nycto, as he moves through the darkness next to the terrorist and uses the Shadows, which he molds into tentacles that springs from the floor towards al’Malik trying to grab him, preventing his escape.

OCC:
Nycto actions will be:
Activate shadow form power
Use teleport as move action (20 squares is enough to get to al’Malik?) till he gets 5 Sq near the terrorist
Use ShadowKinesis to Grab al’Malik (wrestling)
If 10 above the defense roll – use restrain them wrestling move
(and them some talk to this guy)

Your anger boils and your shadow tentacles respond, lashing out at Adam al'Malik.
ShadowKinesis grab (55) vs Adam al'Malik dodge (21)
The tentacles slip around him before he can move out of danger. A string of curses erupt from his lips, some in english, others in arabic. You will the tentacles to turn him towards you; unable to resist, he turns to face you, feet dangling in the air. Your eyes meet and you see madness, rage, and something else...amusement?

"You'll regret this infidel," he says without a hint of an accent, a crazed smile crossing his face.

Normaly you'd have to roll for the restrain action, but we'll assume you have him restrained since he doesn't seem to be making much of an effort to escape.

The amusement in the face of the terrorist makes Nycto snap out of the rage, made by the destruction.

The bombing of the airplanes should be impossible with the security measures applied after 9/11… Unless… He’s the bomb himself… How to stop him? Maybe if he’s unconscious…

Nycto uses al'Malik as a weapon smashing him into the ground, trying to knock it out, and moving away trying to avoid the explosion.

OOC:
Continue the grab, Use Wield them, to the ground (middle of the street for instance, where the explosion won't hurt people.
move away.
I think this would fall more into the territory of "Crush Them" since you're not targeting another enemy, just trying to inflict damage. We'll go with the "Wield Them" rules for this pannel but I think we should use "Crush Them" from this point on.

The shadows grip the grinning terrorist and slam him into the ground...
Nycto Attack (32) vs Adam Dodge (30)
He cries out in pain as he slams into the asphalt.
Nycto Damage (36) vs Adam Soak (12). 24 Damage Total

You slide through the shadows away from him, anticipating his coming attack. With blood on his lips, he looks at you and begins to recite a prayer in Arabic, his eyes glowing brightly, then he explodes! Windows blow out from the nearby buildings and cars, but you're far enough away to avoid any damage.

As your eyes try to refocus after the blast, you see that Adam al'Malik is no longer in your shadow's grasp and is not in the street.

Where the * did he went? Did he disintegrate?

Nycto moves slightly foward as he concentrates on the image of a dark man with a large blade in his hands, trying to picture the shadows with those details. Around him 2 lumps of shadow form slowly into the swordsman.

OCC:
Move foward at half-speed
Summoning 2 Shadow swordsman - 30 hits each (concentration).

Roll your Mind/preception related skill to see if you spot Adam al'Malik (or the Shadow swordsman if theirs is better)

You look around frantically for the terrorist but can't spot him in between the shadows and sickly orange colored street lamps. People begin to filter out of the neighboring apartments and homes, looking at the still burning debris in the area. Fortunately, it looks as though no one was injured on the ground, though your gut wrenches when you question how many lost their lives on that late night flight over Horizon City.

For what seems like endless minutes, you watch over the people from the shadows, waiting for Adam al'Malik to reappear. Suddenly the cry of sirens splits the night and fire, ems, and policevehicles come racing down the street to investigate the airliner crash. They fan out, blocking off block after block, trying to secure the wreckage. A police car pulls up in front of your block and an officer gets out, directing everyone to go inside.

"Arrest me sir, arrest me! I killed all these people, and I will kill many more if you don't take me in!" Across the street Adam al'Malik appears from behind a gate, a broad smile on his face as he sees you. He places his hands on his head and begins to walk to the cop.

"Holy crap, you're that nova the feds are looking for; hands on your head a** h***!"

"They already are sir. Please calm down, take me in, Ive been very bad," the nova croons in a mocking voice as he sinks to his knees, hands on his head. The cop radios something in then begins to cautiously approach al'Malik, his pistol trained on his chest...

No… thinks Alan.

“ Get away from him, he is a living bomb. He can blow you to pieces.” Screams Nycto to the cop as he concentrates on his two swordsman. “Call backup or animal control and make then bring tranquilizer guns.”

Both dark shadowy swordsmen move with lightning fast movements, one trying to move the cop away from al’Malik, the other attacking the terrorist with his two handed dark blade.

OCC:
Swordsman 1
move near the cop - grab and if successfull move him away from al'Malik (note that while grabbed he can do other stuff as calling for backup (or shooting Nycto...))

Swordsman 2
Move near al'Malik - attack him

Wow, that's wicked!
Now I see how much Chimera's universe is mature.
It reminds me of WhiteWolf's game 'Aberrant'.
That will end badly!

Yeah I had lots of fun!

We all constructed this game, so far, as a reality accurate game so it tends to be more darker thn 4 colors SH.

al'Malik was/is a Black and White morality case - yours can be different...

Hey Protheuz, your boy's in the Navy!

Just kidding. I actually want to incorporate pics into my next pbp game; just didn't have time to gather them before this one started. Oh well, maybe next time!

Oh and thanks Volsung for inspiring me to change my avatar.

Fenris moves to accelerate to top speed toward the crash site
I think the plane was destroyed by a bomb (al'Malik) in mid flight, so there isn´t one crash site but hundreds, as pieces of the plane were spread through the sky.

I don't see anyone surviving that (or even be remotely recognizable as a human being), only flaming pieces of several sizes.

Dustland can say for sure.
