Chello!

Yeah, and to reiterate, the levels of challenge in COH are:
Minion
Lt.
Boss
Elite Boss
Villain/Hero
Archvillian/Archhero

There are also Snipers which are sort of like Lts. with long ranged attacks. :)

Sounds like you're having a blast. I've and old Champions, but..wow! The core rules are up to like 1000 pages now!!! *, mate?!!

As I get older, I like simple, quick systems. BASH, V&V..M&M to some extent.

As a former long-time Champions/Hero Games player (all the way back to 1980 with 1st Edition), I feel your pain. :)

I mentioned this to Chris privately but I'll say it now to the crowd at large: When I picked up and read through BASH UE, I got the same thrill I remember feeling way back when I first picked up Champions. This is a game I can be a superhero with! :D

Dude!!!!

Actually it turns out I mis-applied the Domino Effect to gangs. So she only should have been able to take out 12 Minions (three gangs of four). It was a first run mistake. But seriously? I'll allow it if the group likes it after I tell them I made the mistake. We had a ton of fun.

So many ninjas, so little time...

I feel the same way. I cut my teeth on Both 1st Edition Champions and V&V, and the thrill I felt when playing BASH for the first time made me feel like that kid again. Until then, I haven't played/run in about 2 years, so that feeling of idealistic wonder was exhilarating.

Anyway, it sounds like you had a great game (mistakes and all) there Ron. I hope my own first time running next month goes off half as well as your game did!

On the next page, she flew into Uberman and attacked him with her sword, Heaven's Will, and finished him off.

Brilliant!

The whole table of five players and I love BASH! Three of them played in an ICONS game I ran last weekend, and we all think BASH! blows ICONS away.

This game came out of nowhere for me. Thanks, Chris, for taking the time to create it and introduce it to me. Seriously!
Blows ICONS away? Wow. Hi praise indeed!

Paragon City would be a very interesting setting. And I'm actually looting from it develop parts of the setting that Jukeboxer and I are working on, Cascadia. Btw, the Rikti rock! Must have Rikti!

Oh, and I'm with Mr. Jupiter, an Angel with a sword named "Heaven's Will" that's too sweet!
