I'm gonna suggest a meltdown of a couple of the ideas above:
The Dastardly Dozen
To my ear that sounds nicely Golden Age and it really would be kind of a shame not to go with the 'dozen' thing since there are twelve of them

Here's a funny tidbit: Last night I was emailing Dustland, who is doing the cover for this. Most of the villains are going to be on the cover, so he needed me to send him copies of the images. So I go to my folder for the project to rar some, and see that I had 13 villains in the folder. Sure enough, when checking my text file with stats, I wrote up 13!
Rather than use 13, I pulled one to use for a later date. Not the hopeful Volume 2, but something else I have in mind. Guess I got carried away

I could have, but I had pretty much set on 12, with at least 2 volumes planned. The villain I pulled I actually have a use for with something else, so it made sense not to keep him in the compilation.capmarvel wrote:You could have used "The Mean Thirteen".
There will be extra stuff besides the villains, as there is one HQ, a super vehicle, and various minions who assist certain villains. I think people will find it pretty filling even without a 13th villain.
I've been skimming the Digital Comics Museum, and reading the issues where these bad guys appear. It's kind of fun reading these old stories.

Did a certain postal themed speedster survive the cut?urbwar wrote:I could have, but I had pretty much set on 12, with at least 2 volumes planned. No. This is going to feature characters in the Public Domain, all of whom appeared during the Golden Age of Comics.Samuraidad wrote:

Poste Haste is going to be part of a team called The Crime Guild, and will appear when they do. I'm still getting art done for the various members of the group. As Dan Houser is doing that, it's taking awhile (as he does have a lot on his plate). Rest assured, Post Haste will appear sometime in the future.
Now, as it is Monday, it's time for me to decide which name I will use. After some deliberation, I decided to go with "The Dirty Dozen", so congrats to Samuraidad!
However, on the inside of the book, it is going to say "The Dirty Dozen, a collection of Super Scoundrels", so I'm also going to give credit to Texapoet.
When the time comes, I'll ask you for your names to go in the credits, and you'll both get a free pdf copy.
Thanks to everyone who made suggestions!
