I can't say for sure because I don't have either one. I think that they use the old BASH rules that separate attribute and power points. So the template won't work for them.

I just uploaded an update to the template. I added support for Multi-Powers and skillful. I also updated the immobilize power.

How Multi-Power works:

Add a multi-power like any other power, except it appears outside the power categories.
Image

The Multi-Power will appear in your power list with a small picture of a folder next to it:

If you double click on the name of the multi-power the properties window will open allowing you to edit it's name:

If you click on the little folder picture the list will open and you will see the powers in the multi-power.

The multi-power must be open to add powers to it.

The higest cost power in the multi-power is the "primary" power. In the case of multiple powers with the same cost the first one in the list becomes the primary.

What if I want to add a limitation to a power inside a Multi-Power?

Hi Bashman,

You add Limitations just as you would with powers outside the Multi-Power. Just hit the "New" button on the window you are using to build your Power and choose your Limitations. The only difference is that you are doing this with the Multi-Power folder open, so the powers are slotting themselves in that folder. The math seems to work fine.

Best,

Great work, Alric! Thanks for sharing! I'll continue to play test it over the course of the week. I'll report back any new glitches I find, but so far this is smoooth sailing!

Hi Alric,

I think I found another minor glitch.

When you have more Advantages than you do Disadvantages you get a warning that the two are not balanced one for one. However, you don't get charged for this. According to the rules, you can purchase more Advantages than you have Disadvantages at the cost of 1 each. You could also get Disadvantages without Advantages and gain back character points for 1 each.

(Dragonfly does research to make certain that he is correct...)

Okay, I'm only SORT of right. The rule I'm referring to is an optional game mechanic found on page 124 of the BASH UE rules. So - this isn't so much a glitch as a pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top request to eventually support this very good semi-official rule.

Anyway, this template is GREAT. Thanks so much for offering this to the BASH! community.

Best,

For right now I'm trying to stick to the base ruleset, once I get everything working the way I want I will start adding optional rules.

I'll create preference settings that will allow you to select the optional rules that you want to apply.

The next feature I need to add is "unskilled".

Ah! Unskilled. Yes. I hadn't run across that yet. Finalizing the base rules before adding optional rules makes total sense. In the meantime, I'll continue to play with it and post feedback. Thanks again, Alric!

Note that you can also drag powers into and out of the multi-power as well as changing the order. Making it easy to test various configurations.

Also note:
Image
The "Cost" value is the raw sum of all the powers in the multi-power and "Total" is what you actually pay for them. So you can easily see the benefit (or penalty) of the multi-power. In the example you save 3 points by putting the powers in a MP.

Hey Alric,

Great job on the BASH UE Metacreator template! You actually made me go out and update my Metacreator software. Good thing I got my tax refund...

Not at this time for two reasons.

First I don't have either game.

Secondly, time is a problem, once I'm done with BASH I want to work on templates for EABA and Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space.

Who knows though, things can always change.
