Star Wars

Post by AngryGhost »

So...someone has had to have run a Star Wars game with Bash Sci-Fi

I was thinking of creating a whole bunch of Star Wars aliens, space ships etc but was wondering what other people might have out there already (anything to save me time). I really love creating aliens, force powers etc, not so keen on vehicle stats though...

So has anyone got anything?

I was thinking of posting the aliens here as and when, depending on when I get around to finishing my current BASH! UE game.

I had plans to run SW on another forum, using BASH UE and had statted out many of the iconic characters to demonstrate how the system can reflect star wars. But due to the difficulties in rolling dice I abandoned the project, though I have again been toying with running it live.

Do you have a link as it would be a good starting point for me to add to ?

DiceRoller online for PbF

Post by Nighthawk »

Try this site, BeardedDork:
http://invisiblecastle.com/
We use this for our italian PbF of "BASH!" ("SUPER!") and it's very useful because everyone can roll the dice and post the related link so that the master can control the result: it's impossible to cheat

That is what we typically use for our SAGA star wars games, but we where looking for something that would automatically handle BASH's unique dice mechanic.

My star wars material is not currently online, and as you understand the game it would likely take you less time to convert the characters yourself than for me to post up and link what I have.

I had started a thread a while back concerning how to handle the Dark Side here:

I've considered running a sci-fi game on here in the pbp forum once I wrap up the Chimera game. I've never run one before and it could be fun.

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is it will not be posted until it is ALL done, so don't hold your breath.
