My bad Protheuz, I've actually never used the knockback rules!

Obviously caught off guard by the sudden appearance of so many targets, the ApeBot fails to react in time to Nyctos' attack. A crash of steel on steel rocks the 'bot a bit, but not enough to move it. All of you are slightly heartened to see the green glint of fluid leaking from the ApeBot's frame though!

ApeBot takes 7 hits. Growth 3 + Brawn 4 = not so easy to move!

Javi's next, then Nyx!

Javier ambles over to stand with the captain.

"S**t, Marshal, the lady is in good hands. Looks like my peeps have got it down. And if the big bad robot gets out, I can take it down, no prob."

He grins and amiably slaps the police officer's shoulder in a comradely fashion. "Good thing we were here to help you out, huh?"

Nyx nods to Javi, "Right, I'll see if I can help the others. Just gonna take a quick swim," The remaining water within the fountain rushes out in a huge stream, swirling towards Nyx, then up to the top of the construction building. As it passes by, Alex submerges within it, and in an impressive display of Nova athletic ability, swims with it towards it's destination.

Atop the building, the water splashes to the ground, Nyx landing easily on his feet. As soon as he's landed the water floats back into the air, and rushes towards the ApeBot briefly appearing as spears as they approach collision with their targets.

Spend a HP to perform a Power Trick with Water Mastery. Combining it with Super Swimming to briefly gain Flight 3, 2 HP left. Then using Hydrokinesis to attack the ApeBot with the water I "brought" along.

Fyi, I really like your application of the water powers, very cool

Nyx lands nimbly on top of the structure, the water rushing forward and striking the ApeBot from yet another direction (and thoroughly soaking everyone in the area). Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have much effect on the enormous robot.

Meanwhile...

"Good thing we were here to help you out, huh?"

The captain looks at his shoulder where Javi slapped his shoulder, a look of distaste crossing his face. "This isn't done yet young man, let's save the celebration for later."

He turns back to the trapped robot, raising the shotgun to his shoulder. "You've done alright though."

Nestor: Your attention is called back to the ice as it groans and cracks, the BuzzBot continuing its attempts to escape. The ice holds for the moment though.

Everyone Else: You all land blows against the ApeBot with varying degrees of effect, the puddle of hydrolic fluid mixed with the water attests to that. The ApeBot's head swivels around wildly, trying to track all its attackers.

"Not again..." begins Dr Mortinson as she turns to run when the robot's red sensors stop on her. With suprising speed one of the ApeBot's massive hands shoots out and grabs her once again. You all prepare for the next barrage of attacks when the robot crouches, then launches itself high into the air! It sails over your heads and lands on the tree in the street, snapping the 20' cedar like a twig under its weight (N24).

Nestor: Any smartass quip you were about to make is interrupted by the landing of the ApeBot just 10' behind you, Dr Mortinson in its hand, and smooshed tree under its iron feet!

Javier swings around in shock, whatever he was going to say forgotten. "Madre de Dios!"

"Jeezus guys!" he shouts at his teammates. "I thought you had this taken care of!"

Holding his arm out as if aiming down its length, he sends another blast of fire targeted at the obviously damaged arm joint.

[Javier's going for his own Called Shot, aiming for the spot that Fenris was hitting, using Special Attack Close Range, x5 to hit, x4 damage.]

The flame lashes out at the ApeBot just as it steps forward, tripping on the tree, causing it to stagger and the flaming bolt to sail high.

The captain turns on his heel, gun aimed at the ApeBot when he spots the woman in its hand. "Oh *," he spits, holding his trigger finger for fear of hitting the doctor in the blast. "What'd I tell yah," he whispers to Javi, as though the ApeBot isn't fully aware of the two of them standing there.

"Brute force seems useless. But an electric shock could seriously hurt him. He constantly focus on its maker. We could lure him with such a bait. I can try to rescue our 'Jessica Lange' if you guys can figure some kind of electric trap?..."

(And now i'm supposed to roll something to catch her out of its grasp^^ What's your custom rule for specialization rolls?)
