Outstanding podcast, gentlemen! Enjoyed it immensely!

I know I've said this before, but I would definitely agree that BASH is the perfect middle ground between crunchy and lite systems. I just frankly wish I had the game years ago when I was in college running my supers rpg campaigns.

I would like to also agree that the supplement that I am most looking forward to is the Awesome Powers Book. No pressure though. You can't rush greatness. Make the best book possible, Chris, and then release it. :)

Oh, and AslanC, the next podcast with Steve Kenson sounds excellent. Steve is always such an interesting interviewee (lots of gaming wisdom there). And getting Chris's question for Steve is just going to be geeky coolness!

Rock on, guys!

I definately agree that it was a great podcast. I'm looking forward to the release of Legends of Steel as well as Awesome Powers. [Still hoping for BASH:UE in color.]

Great interview. Aslan, you have a great radio voice.

I can't wait to hear what Chris is going to ask Steve!

Thanks.

Thanks everyone :)

With the new year upon us and issue 5 looming, we MAY be getting our new music and then going on iTunes.

If anyone has any suggestions for guests, please let me know as we have gotten out first 5 "must haves" now and have no idea which way to go now.

Oh and tell all your friends ;)

Yes! That was a fun interview with Chris. And it made me enjoy going back and listen to your earlier podcasts, which was cool.

I'm jealous with your production value and such. I've always wanted to do a Podcast like that. Very cool.

My favorite thing I "got" out of the interview of Chris.
The BASH! Core book suggests using colored poker chips for Hero Dice/Points and Setback Pts. and Villain Dice. But in the podcast Chris mentioned using Red dice for Hero Dice to give the die to the player (instead of the red poker chip suggested in the book).
I'm a game paraphernalia geek so THIS blew me away as a cool idea. I immediately looked in my huge die collection for a dozen Red Dice (for Hero Dice) and Black Dice (for Villain Points) to pop in my "BASH! supers gear box of fun" ... and DOH!! I don't have enough of either color D6s!!! So my obsessive compulsive nature is going to force me to go out to a game store and buy a block of RED and BLACK dice specficially for use when I game BASH!
LOL

In the cast, Chris mentions using beads for HPs, but I'm sticking with poker chips since they stack so nicely when I give them to players.

LOVE love love the neat little tweaks like that though to help make game play fun, easy and quicker. I can't believe I missed the idea of actually GIVING a "die" in place of a Hero DIE or Villain DIE.

BASHMAN sir... you should note to change that bit in the Core rulebook from Poker Chips for Hero/Villain Dice to actual dice. Its just elegant! hehe.

It's the little things that make me a happy gamer!

I wish to continue the dogpile of praise! Thank you AslanC and BASHMAN! That was the best gaming podcast I've heard so far. I am definitely interested in a couple of upcoming products.

Thanks again gang.

To answer the statement about my "radio voice", I studied radio broadcasting at Loyalist College in Belleville, Onatario in the very early 90s.

I also worked for 940News here in Montreal from 2000 - 2003.

Guess it paid off ;)

How about some of these guys for possible guests:

1. Clint Black and Shane Helmsley who wrote the Superhero Companion for the Savage Worlds system. And Clint wrote the SW supplement setting Necessary Evil.

2. Veteran supers artist extrordinaire Storn Cook.

3. Veteran supers author (and fellow Canadian!) Scott Bennie who most recently wrote Gestalt for both M&M 2e and the Hero System.

4. How about Mike Lafferty from Vigilance Press w/ all the cool WWII stuff they are doing!

Just a few ideas.

Btw, I did tell a friend. :) Keep up the great work guys!

@ Samurai Dad: How about I Narrate a game Set in the Vigilance Press WWII setting, with Aslan C and Mike Lafferty as one of the players (and our own Lindharin)? That's the plan for the Vigilance Press podcast!

I betcha it'd be a good time to do a little networking too, ;-)

Great news! And the Vigilance guys crank out the podcasts. I'll keep my eye out for that. Thanks!!!
