Perform skill

Post by Ratix »

I'm a little confused as to how this works. When I pick talents, do I pick 2 specialties, with one being the "re-roll" specialty and the other being what I can also use the skill with (i.e., I pick Play Instrument and Dancing, with Play Instrument as the specialty). Or does one talent have to be more specific? Like if I pick Play Instrument, do I have to pick a specific instrument (so it might be Perform: Guitar: Play Instrument specialty)?

The first one is correct. So you could take "Singing & Dancing" with specialty in Singing or Dancing.

So if you add an extra skill slot to Perform, you get two extra Perform styles. Is that in addition to the usual bonus?
For instance, if I add an extra slot, can I choose between an additional multiplier AND two extra styles, or an additional specialty AND two extra styles. Or is it a choice between a multiplier, a specialty, OR two additional styles?
(Hope I am clear.)

You get the extra multiplier/specialty *and* the 2 extra styles.

Cool. That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure.
