Team name for Golden Age supers
So I'm putting together a team of Golden Age supers for a one shot (some of the art I commissioned is posted over in the Sketch pad forum), and I'm trying to decide on a team name.
The current name I have is the "Freedom Society of America", which is a cross between the JSA and M&M's Freedom League. However, I'm not quite sure that fits. So, I figured I'd make a poll, and see if any of my other ideas appeal more. So my fellow BASHers, what do you think I should call my team?

Re: Team name for Golden Age supers
I voted for the Freedom Society of America, but that's only because it was the name of our first superhero team back when we started playing Champions in the 1980s. Actually, the character Arachnid, who I posted over in the builds forum, was leader of the FSA (until we changed the name to the Justice Crusaders because we realized that the FSA was more of a Golden Age name).urbwar wrote:So I'm putting together a team of Golden Age supers for a one shot (some of the art I commissioned is posted over in the Sketch pad forum), and I'm trying to decide on a team name.

You have Defenders of Justice on there too. That's close to our Champions of Justice - a Golden Age group that I GMed for years very successfully. Ah the memories!

FYI: When America entered the war, the JSA renamed themselves "The Justice Battalion" in 1942AslanC wrote:Yes but what is the most famous group from that period? the Justice Society of America, less so the Seven Soldiers of Victory or the All-Winners Squad.BeardedDork wrote:That's the thing though, the war was ubiquitous in the golden age.
