Mindblade

How would you make a Mindblade in Bash? In MnM I would make a Mind Blast with the Melee Range Limitation but Bash doesn't have a Mind Blast.

Bashman has discussed having a Mind Blast power in a couple of threads. The most recent and official that I'm aware of is:

Mind Blast Power in Fantasy Setting
Porting to BASH

For my home game, I'm using Tiring instead of the Energy Cost as an inherent limitation. That works well for a ranged Mind Blast, I don't recall any comics where a character uses it page after page after page.

But for a melee version, maybe a different approach to keeping it balanced would be better. For example, maybe requiring an Agility-based unarmed attack roll to hit with it would be appropriate, and IMO would be sufficient added disadvantage all by itself, so I wouldn't apply Tiring too.

huh... I was thinking a bit more like Psylocke. In MnM Mind Blast is resisted by a Will save but otherwise it works like a regular blast. Is there a way to do something like this?

I would make that a Limitation on the Mind Blast- that you have to roll to hit.
