Hey guys...

I feel a little less bad about plugging this now, since I have had the time to contribute to the board in a more meaningful way.

I am in a contest called Small Press Idol, in which I have entered a book called MAX MONKEY MONSTER MASHER (he's the guy in my avatar). It's a comedy/action/horror title, written by me and drawn by Werner Mueck. Today, our four page preview of the comic went live, so if you all would, please take a moment to check it out and, if you feel so obliged, vote for us.

Voting is reset daily, so you can vote once a day. This is a hugehugeHUGE opportunity for us, as the winners get $1,000 plus a four issue contract and a toy deal. Of the 30 projects in the contest right now, only four make it to the final round, so we could use all the support we can get.

Our fanbase fell off late in Round 2 and didn't come back in Round 3.

Round 3 ends today, and we most likely will NOT make it to Round 4...however, we are still likely to get a cover slot in Mysterious Visions Anthology.

We also had some big technical issues that screwed with us in our Round 3 submission.

Yeah, but not $1000 , toy deal and publishing contract kinda win...=)
