Giant Transforming Robots

Post by BentonGrey »

Howdy guys! I'm running a Transformers-style game, and as is usually the case, I'd like to use BASH. Any suggestions for how to build giant transforming robots?

Shape-Shifting. The Robots should probably have levels in Size or Growing, too.

If you have Awesome Powers, one of the volumes (I think AP11) has an updated version of Shape-Shifting where you can buy the power at 1-4 points. 1 point lets you change into 1 other form. 2 points is 2 extra forms, 3 points is three extra forms, and 4 points is freeform as per the existing rules.

So most transformers would have Size 1, Shape-Shifting 1.

Come to think of it, I think Awesome Powers Volume 2 has a sample transforming robot character in it. Let me look for it.

Okay so it looks like AP2 had a power called "Mechanical Transformation" and "Mecha" which were variants of "Shape-Shifting" and "Size", respectively. Those powers might just be consolidated to be like "Shape-Shifting (Mechanical)" and "Size".
