Does BASH UE encompass the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Editions?

Let's talk about the very awesome BASH!

Does BASH UE encompass the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Editions?

Post by Claire_Redfield »

I'm looking at maybe trying BASH for my Mass Effect and possibly a Metroid game. Does BASH UE cover the other editions, or would I want BASH UE and BASH Sci-Fi?

Thanks!

BASH! UE is just superheroes. It does mention Sci-Fi Superheroes (and Fantasy Superheroes) but mainly in reference to things like Legion of Superheroes and Batman Beyond; not really for a standard Space Opera. For that, BASH! Sci-Fi is what you want (and it handles a lot more genres of Sci-Fi than that, too).

Hope that helps

Yes, I'd go BASH SCI-FI as well. It's a great game that can handle all kinds of science fiction gaming (from realistic, near future settings like the movies Road Warrior and Blade Runner to far future ones like Prometheus and Wing Commander.

The one rule book has everything you need and is very attractively laid out. This book is even available in print format via Lulu:

I really like BASH sci-fi. Some of it's ship combat rules I imported into BASH UE while running a cosmic one-shot
