Those Wanted posters are a fantastic idea. Not only do they give us an awesome preview of the artwork for the product but they can serve as excellent handouts during the game.

If you could add a little extra space at the bottom of each sheet you could put your Soultaker Studios name (and web address) on them - then hand them out at conventions as free give aways promoting your company!

That ios a great idea! There is plenty of space at the bottom and that could serve as a cool little handout.

He should talk to his layout guy about this...

Walt

I will definitely talk to my layout guy, once he's back from serving his country for a few days :?

New commission! I had Kris draw a character I am playing in a Villains & Vigilantes game. It's the same setting I play Glare in. His name is Coldsteel. He was a doctor who gained his powers while trying to perfect a device for cryogenic suspension. His skin became hard like steel (giving him limited super strength), and he also gained power over cold/ice.

(and yes, his look was inspired by Colossus of the X-Men)

Coldsteel looks awesome! I'm glad to see that Kris is back to doing commisions. I really enjoy seeing his work.

and a new one! This is also set in the V&V campaign universe. Graak is an alien who was captured by a race called the Moevians (basically the Kree, but with supers of their own and some other changes). An Earth hero named Marshal Strong has been catapulted into space, losing most of his powers. He is going to meet a group of alien slaves who break free, and do a kind of Legion of Superheroes/Guardians of the Galaxy type thing.

Anyway, all our alien characters ended up being aquatic in nature. After rolling my powers, I came up with the idea of an armored crab man with blades that come out from his forearms (on the bottom, not the top). The blades are inspired by the tail of a Stingray. Thus was born Graak:

I might adapt him for BASH; if I do, I'll be sure to post his origin. I look forward to reading what people think of this one, especially as it's not a human character

Very interesting look, and his exaggerated animated style almost keeps me from asking where his blades go when he retracts them, as they're as long as his arm......

The eyes and teeth suggest a very aggressive character (to be honest, at first glance he looked like a villain to me), and the shoulders suggest extreme strength. The arthropod armor is very nicely done.

He looks aggressive because he was captured and enslaved on the day he was supposed to join with his mate. They took her too (or so he thinks), and killed many of his people attending the ritual. He wants revenge on those that did this to him, and once he's freed from captivity, will likely try and kill as many of his enslavers as he can. Technically he's not a hero (nor are any of the alien characters designed), but would be considered such by default because the aliens that enslaved them are not good either

I'm having Kris add the uniform of the Cosmic Legion (a couple of characters in this thread are from that group), as I could see a version of him serving in that group
