"Real life" clothes always challenge me to I figured I'd practice drawing a guy in a suit. One thing led to another and ended up with this (off-centered) villain (?), Mr Gray. One day I need to stat these guys up!

I was playing around with some background effects, trying to add some depth to my work. Here's an explosion scene I came up with. Enjoy!

Mr. Grey is excellent. Also, your explosion scene is top notch... Very well executed! The streak-out effects that blend into the black background work really well to convey the explosive energy. The silhouette against the bright white glow are perfect and the cooler red glows of the explosion accent well. Love the white balls of explosive debris too.

Fantastic!

I too really like Mr. Grey and the explosion. The fuzzy edges of the silhouette make the white feel blinding if that makes any sense.

cheers

Here's an unfinished piece Dustland is working on for me. The finished version is pretty slick:

I love this creature! Urbwar, are you making a BASH monster book? That would be cool to see -- super-sized creatures to threaten for your super hero games! Giant monsters, shadowy lurkers, alien snatchers!

Sorry. I'm derailing...

Great creature.

Mr. Jupiter,

It's not for a BASH monster book. It's for something based on my "Plague of Darkness" Cosmic-level one shot.

Just as cool! Actually a cosmic adventure ranks as extra-cool!
