I'd like to find all the answers on rule questions that CLARIFY rule uses - to list them all in one place. Here are a few clarifications BASHMAN noted recently.

Do you have links to other good rule use notes and/or clarifications?

We can use this to collect for a new BAM! issue or a future Awesome Powers release.

#1. Can you "Power Stunt" an Advantage or Enhancement?

YES, you can Power Stunt an Enhancement, since that is just part of a power. You can also "Push" a power to add an Enhancement or ignore a Limitation.
NO, you cannot Power Stunt an Advantage. However, [new rule addition] spend a Hero Die for "Creative Use" that allows the player to suggest or to do something "comic-bookishly-appropriate". Example: Spending a Hero Die to get a Wooly Mammoth to befriend the PCs for an issue.

#2. INTERRUPT action (Hero Die = Quick Thinking) Can you retro-actively Interrupt?

NO, after dice are rolled for Defense or Soak, you cannot Interupt to change your defensive action to avoid a hit or find a better way to soak.

#3. MIND CONTROL - Do you need to roll the contested Mind Check EACH page, even if you're not giving a "NEW" command?
CAN I use Mind Control on a different target next round and maintain control of BOTH targets?

NO, you don't need to reroll the original Mind Control use, unless you give a new command, OR the command that was given is repeatedly something the character would find abhorant or self destructive.
YES, you can maintain "focus" and use Mind Control again on a different target. However, when you must reroll Mind Control on a previous target you cannot use Mind Control again in that Page (since it is an attack action).

#4. If you purchase a Burst (or any other Area attack or Range attack) do you HAVE TO use the Burst (or Area or Range) when you use that power?

YES, you must use Burst with the power all the time; unless you have purchased the Burst as a Variable (and can thus turn it off).

BASHMAN is right, in that the second printing is clearer - however I still find myself scratching my head over this when I have been away from the game for awhile.
