I like to write down big/little questions we have while playing the game. Here is a question we hit today:
Can you "Power Stunt" an Advantage or Enhancement?
EXAMPLES:
(assume that I gave good descriptions of HOW I'm power stunting these options)
- For Enhancement - can I "Power Stunt" & add a Range (or Area) onto my Special Attack power?
- For Advantage - can I "Power Stunt" an Advantage like "Super Pet" to leap on and "control" the Wholly Mammoth, that I just KO'd all the Neanderthals that were riding (controlling) him? If so, would it last for the Page, Panel or Issue?
thanks

I'd allow a player to do it with an Enhancement, since that is just part of a power- I think you can actually just "Push" a power to do that; look and see if "push yourself" has that option.
I would not allow that with an Advantage, though. However I would allow players to spend a Hero Die to do something "comic-bookishly-appropriate" even if it isn't one of the spelled out things in the rules. So spending a Die to get the Wooly Mammoth to befriend the PCs for an issue? I'd allow that, but I wouldn't put a label on it as "Super Pet" though.

Cool! I really like that "out of the box" kind of thinking.BASHMAN wrote:I'd allow a player to do it with an Enhancement, since that is just part of a power- I think you can actually just "Push" a power to do that; look and see if "push yourself" has that option.

I think this is something worthy of a BAM! article or a mention in Awesome Powers #2 - New (Creative) Uses for Hero Dice...MrJupiter wrote:Cool!
