Mind Control and Other Sundries Questions

Howdy guys, I'm helping one of my players build a hero, and I'd like some advice. He's building a mentalist, roughly along the lines of the archetype in the UE handbook. The first question I have is in regards to Mind Control. The power description doesn't list any range, so I assume it is just line of sight. Would that be correct? Second, can you issue a command the same round you control someone? Third, if my friend has his mental powers set up as a Multi-power, he can only use one at a time. If that is the case, does his control over someone end when he uses a different power, even if that character doesn't succeed in a mind roll against him? Thanks!

My understanding would be:

1) range is line of sight with Telepathy, otherwise range is within speaking distance since the target must be able to hear and understand you.

2) Yes, since issuing a command happens in conjunction with the Mind contest, except on a delayed command.

3) I believe BASHMAN answered this somewhere and said yes, if you use another power in a multi-power then the Mind Control ends.

Actually, you can give orders by phone, too, but I believe that may be more expensive or difficult.
