Well, I buckled and got my Runequest 6 PDF (and softback is on the way).
And I so wanted to be strong about this.
PS- supposedly the 7 inch (or so) iPad Mini is due this Fall

I bought a Nook Color in the hopes it would do the trick, but the PDF reader fell far short of my requirements as stated.
I tried rooting it with the latest Android OS (Honeycomb at that time) but still couldn't find a PDF reader that fit the bill. And the 7-in. screen bugged the * out of me; it made me feel like I was reading through the wrong end of a telescope.
I got the chance to pick up one of the $99 HP TouchPads and was excited when I noticed it came with a Reader from Adobe, but was once again disappointed as it lacked any of the features I looked for.
The search continues...

Reading through parts of Runequest tonight (sitting with the kids as they watch "Secret of Arrietty"), it's funny that I'm mentally converting the rules back to BASH. Or at least thinking "you can do this in same thing in BASH but with a lot less math".
So, will no doubt use Runequest as a "reference" (since it does have tons of ideas/concepts) but would most likely use BASH as the actual game engine.
I suppose a good experiment would be to make the same character in both games and see which has the best "feel" for what I envision the character to be.
