Honor & Intrigue MOBI

Post by B_A_J »

The Kobo Vox doesn't read PDF files natively. I have a Kindle app on it, and a converter on my PC, but the converter does strange things to the layout.

If there was a MOBI version with formatting intact I could read it on my e-reader with no difficulty.

Bashman, do you have one?

I don't know what "Mobi" means.

One of the pdfs is called Honor + IntrigueTablet which is made to be easier to read on tablets and smartphones. I don't know if it works for your purposes, though.

.mobi is the Kindle format for an e-book.

I have the tablet PDF. That I can't read on my Kobo Vox.

Darn. This means that I'll only be able to read it on my desktop.

Pardon for butting in, but have you tried the calibre E-book Management software?

My understanding is that it can convert documents from one format to another, and it does list MOBI as one of the output formats.

As Nestor says, you can also probably convert it to html. I've converted mine to a cbz format (zipped comic book) using linux command line.
