Funny enough, I used to know the guys who created Liberty. They had a decent supers fanzine called herozine.

Anyway, thinking on names:

American Woman (like the old song)

Star Spangled Woman

Major Star

Stars & Stripes (I know most times this is used as two separate names, but I think making it one person's name first too)

Hey, I remember Liberty! Followed the webcomic a while ago and then lost track of it.

Funny, my first thought was "Maiden America" too.

Have you considered "All-Star"?
