I was wondering if weapon technique unarmed was usable with grab and joint/lock.
For Example the Hero Pankration has 4 levels in Unarmed Weapon Technique (variable) and Martial Arts Styles Tough,Grappling and Defensive. Brawn 3, Agility 3 Mind 2.
When he initiates a grab against the Cretan Brawn 4, agility 2.
The rules for grappling say Pank rolls x4 (Agility+1 for Grappling Style) and Cretan x2+2 (Agility +2 dice Add for Higher Brawn).
Can Pank use 2 of his 4 levels in Unarmed to increase his grab roll to x6, and use the other x2 as Damage on a joint lock for a x6 Brawn Check (3 from Brawn, 1 from Grappling and 2 from Technique).
Or can he use his levels to only add to damage adding x4 to his Brawn roll for x8 Brawn roll
Or do unarmed levels not get used at all in Wrestling.

Firstly, You cannot have more than 2 levels in Weapon Technique.
Secondly, it cannot apply to grappling as that is already handled by the Martial Arts Mastery power. If you want to allow that as the Narrator, that's perfectly fine, but as the rules were intended, they are not supposed to stack in that manner.
Likewise, Grappling style will also improve your damage rolls with wrestling. Again, if you want to allow them to stack as the Narrator, that is fine, but not how I intended it to work.

Thanks for the reply Bashman
I thought unarmed were the exception given

I think I'll go with your intent, I can see arguments for allowing it, but I'd rather go RAW

But its cool with me if its 2 max, I assume then you meant that a Brawn 4 guy couldn't use 2 levels of WT to get x6DM.You can improve your unarmed attacks up to a maximum
of x5 to hit or damage
