Do you think it would be reasonable to allow the Extra effect enhancement to change the stat needed to hit?
For example an archer with a taser arrow (built as Daze or a Flash arrow built as Confusion)
The rules say, it would use Mind to make the attack roll, but what if you took extra effect, and changed it to Agility?
Or would it even be necessary, common sense dictates it would be Agility rather than Mind for the attack, but would like some feedback.
Thanks.

IMO I would't even require a stunt for that. I would make that a Called Shot to hit, and give the guy with the Garbage Can a Major Hindrance until he used up an attack to take it off.BeardedDork wrote:I have always done what would be dictated by common sense. When one of my Players dropped a garbage can over the head of the villain (powerstunt Confusion) in my first game I ran, we all agreed that Agility made more sense than Mind.
As for the Confusion/Daze to hit w/ Agility- I usually do those sorts of attacks as Burst Area anyway. I also would stick with it being a Mind Contest (when I run it) because it is a contest of how fast they perceive the arrow, identify it for what it is, and react to close their eyes before the flash vs. how well made the arrow is (using the archer's Mind. Note most archers I build also have Boost Mind for all things arrow related)
However to the OP's question- yes I think that would be a perfectly fine use of Extra effect. The new printing, Extra Effect it lists you can use it in more creative ways that just +2DM, etc.
