An aid for Mental Malfunction

Post by MrJupiter »

Someone posted that they had trouble coming up with interesting Mental Malfunctions. I can't find that post now but here is a link to some Archetypes from a site called Assymetry (dedicated to V&V). These are a bunch of interesting 'roles' to help direct a particular character's motivation during games.

Link to Assymetry in general:

Link to Archetype list specifically:

This site offers a great way of encapsulating a general Mental Malfunction into one word and would make a great narrator resource for new players. A person could select the title of the best * "role" for their character and then flesh it out further with a particular quirk or two. It would make the determining of a Mental Malfunction much faster and even help to better place a particular character into a team of heroes.

Hey cpamarvel, that's a pretty thorough breakdown of powers based upon function and application. Thanks for sharing this...
