Linking a concentration Power to an attack

Post by WaylanderPK »

Another Question for the Oracles of BASH :)

Say I wanted to do this

Pain Cage - 7pts
Continual Damage 5 (x3,Close,Small Burst)
Force Field 4 (x2, Close,Small Burst) Linked to Continual Damage

Normally a concentration attack is delayed till the end of the page. But the Continual Damage goes in your Panel.

I'm guessing that I would need to take Concentration on the Continual Damage, though linked only mentions Burst or Range specifically.

Pain Cage - 6pts
Continual Damage 5 (x3,Close,Small Burst,Concentration)
Force Field 4 (x2, Close,Small Burst) Linked to Continual Damage

Does that seem right?

They would have to take effect simultaneously, You could instead buy off the Concentration, though.

If your idea is just to make a cage do damage whenever anybody touches it you can do this by using Damage Shield.

Cool, thanks.
Yeah, I figured their were a number of ways to do it, but wanted to check on the particulars of concentration. I assume buying it off is basically the same as the Second Nature advantage.
