Yes, Overdrive's done a fine lob of waiting, quite possibly the best example of waiting I've ever seen

Nycto: You deftly avoid the approaching frost, eliciting a howl of outrage from the cell-bound Dr Eckel. You leap back, landing next to the cell door that is holding the once armed Eckel, who politely taps his door to get your attention.

"Heya, would you mind giving me my gun back? Seriously, it's not like I'm gonna SHOOT you or anything," the madman states as he slides his hand out the door's small window, his fingers wiggling in anticipation of being handed back the pistol.

You all hear yet another tremendous crack from the cell containing the raging psycho, though you still can't see what he's doing on account of the flames in his cell.

Ominously, you all realize that the noise of the people (Eckels?) that was at the end of the ward, beyond the partially closed door, has grown silent.

Overdrive: You're trying to figure out what the heck to do when a call goes out over the police radios. The patients have punched a hole in the far side of the ward and are swarming out into the grassy lawn outside!!! The police begin to scramble as they try to contain the breech.

A hand roughly rips the blindfold from you and you find yourself staring at the steel-colored eyes of Cpt Marshall. "What the * are you doing?" he yells at you, two inches from your face. "The loons are out!"

Overdrive can take his action now, otherwise I'll conclude the page, and move on!

I'm not sure Overdrive is 'contagious' while in control but after all, I'm not afraid for our captain. He proved during his first encounter with Nycto that he had an iron will.)

Overdrive closes his eyes urgently and grab the captain by the shirt and yells at him, struggling against Eckel's influence.

"Why did you think that I sported such a lovely blindfold? Because it suited my peaches and cream complexion?!
Eckel can inject a copy of himself in people's mind by eye contact. And i've been infected so welcome to the club you Genius!"

He let go the captain and exclaims
"I don't know if you're still in control and I don't care , he'll possess every police forces that 'll try to contain the lunatics!
My only hunch is that we've got to disable the original Eckel by any means or Horizon City will become his playground. "

Overdrive rushes in the corridor to the end of the ward.
(He'll try to avoid any attacks from the Eckels without signs of stopping))
"To * with those puppets! Fenris, we'll need your senses to spot the true Eckel! And for god sake don't look me in the eyes! " He adds

Overdrive dashes down the hall, leaping over the charred remains of the Bug Girl (Mrs Eckel) and past his companions. He slams into the door leading to the wing's admin and med center.

Overdrive: You're expecting to find a room full of Eckels, but instead you find it empty except for a number of small fires, some weird artistry rendered in something brown and stinky on one wall, an unoccupied throne made of stacked desks and and a plush office chair....and a hole in the far wall leading out to the lawn and night beyond. The edges of the hole are glowing red, as though the concrete sctucture had been burned or melted away, though no derbis litters the ground.

Fenris roars and takes off after Overdrive. He easily overtakes him and heads through the hole after the loons.

Fenris leaps over the smouldering remains of the Bug Girl and down the hall, feral rage and power propelling him to inhuman speed, his roar echoing off the tiles.

Fenris: You dash around Overdrive and leap the last thirty feet over the stacks of office furniture, landing at the opening in the wall (E25/26). You see a dozen or more men and women, some in the patient's jumpsuits, others in civilian clothes, and one in a cop's uniform. Police have come around the building to stop them but the Eckels are tearing through them with startling speed, at least those they attack.

Some of the Eckels appear to make eye contact with the officers rather than blast/rip/tear them apart, who then turn and run back to their allies. Eckels, Eckels everywhere.

At least there's still a gate betweem them and...a swooshing sound interupts your thoughts and you see a man glide off into the night overhead!

"Catch you on the flip side bros!" one of the Eckels yells, drawing your attention back to the carnage. He laughs, waves, and pops out of existence, going God knows where...

Yes

Also, one of the men, dressed like the other patients but with a bed sheet draped over his shoulders like a cape and a plastic trashcan on his head, looks just like the photo of Mr Eckels, complete with wide, psychotic grin. He's simply standing in the middle of the group of Eckels as though he were an emperor admiring the chaos and carnage of a gladiator fight.

Yes, if any of his team gets outside Fenris points out the Emperor to them. Otherwise, he won't draw the attention.

(Does 'Push a power' (p26) apply to a special attack? So I could boost an attack by taking some hits...

Anyway, with 'super jump 90 sq' I could catch up with Fenris. But it does not mean I'd be able to move to the real Eckel and strike him? wouldnt' I??)
