Super Sense or Sense X?

Hey fellas,

There is some overlap on the various sensory powers, so I'm looking for advice from you guys on how to model the following:

1) Detect lies. (I'm thinking Sense X)

2) See astral forms. (I'm thinking Super Sense)

3) See through illusions. (I'm thinking Super Sense)

4) The invisible people or objects. (I'm thinking Super Sense)

5) See psychic emanations. (I'm thinking Super Sense)

What do you all think, and what criteria would you use to make the decision?

1. I'd usually use a skill for this- Detection/Detect Deception. Unless you want them to be right 100% of the time, then I'd do Sense X.

2. Super Sense

3. Actually I'd do this as Immunity 1 (Illusions)

4. Super Sense- BUT I would have them specify how. Is it infrared vision, magic, etc? There is often *some* way that this can be beaten. Like if it were infravision, someone could add an enhancement that their invisibility also applies to the infrared spectrum, etc.

5. I'd just let anyone with Telepathy of 1 or greater do this. I wouldn't have a seperate power for it.

Ah! Good stuff here! Immunity 1 (Illusions)? Brilliant!

I agree with you on the Super Sense (See Invisible). The source is important here. Interesting about the Telepathy. I like how "broadly" this power can be interpreted. It makes sense.

As for the Lie Detection - I was thinking like Daredevil, so I'll probably go with Sense X.
