Why is BASH! not listed?

Talk about anything, but keep it civil

Why is BASH! not listed?

Why is BASH! not listed here? Seems like it would be a good way for folks to learn about my favorite rpg!

It could be that it isn't listed because Bash doesn't currently have a Wiki entry. Someone could create an account at Wikipedia and fix this. I also notice that Icons isn't there....

Both of these games deserve to be on that list imo.

Anyway, there are some games there I hadn't heard of, thanks for the link.

I never made one myself because it is against Wikipedia's rules for a company to make its own wikipedia page.

Well that answers it then. If someone more computer savy than me hasn't done it by this weekend then I'll give it a shot.

Editing wikipedia isn't really that complicated- it doesn't require much tech savvy at all. I've done it for some history articles before.

You can find on the info on how to do it here: http://ang.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... dit_a_page

I am in the process of writing up (and formatting) an article to create the Wikipedia page for:

"BASH! (role-playing game)"

If anyone can HELP by taking a look at a current superhero RPG Wikipedia article and list for me ALL the detail information, it will help me get it done more quickly.

I was using the Mutants & Masterminds RPG article as an example. But any sourced typed up info to list for the BASH! game would be helpful.

Including info/comments on the history, system, settings, and LINKS, and reference links, etc... etc...

List them here and I'll copy/paste into the article I'm writing up.
thanks

BASH! (role-playing game) Wikipedia article.

Hey guys.... a reminder I am worried the Wikipedia people might delete the article for BASH! I began with lack of info (at current).

Please go and update the info if you can. If you can't wiki, post as many notes and info as you like HERE and I'll copy/paste it in.
Much of this info can be copy/pasted or written from the BASH!/BAG website, or from the credits page of the BASH! UE book. Also, having any reference links for BASH! Reviews, awards, etc... is helpful.
Also, quick descriptions of the Rule System and any unique cool things about the game can be fun to copy in.

If you have a source, reference it by LINK or notation.

I also haven't figured out how to add a cover-image for BASH! into the Wikipedia format yet, if anyone knows how...

This is a relatively easy thing to help the spread of BASH! to the world... but getting the info wrangled up is tedious. Help anyone?
Thanks!

I just looked at the article and it says it needs "Secondary Source References". One easy, notable source for this would be the ENnie awards since it was nominated for Best Rules.

Good suggestion.
I paused on updating the article until folks can help a little with some info. It needs to be some community updating (at least helping me get the research info), not just me.

If the ENnie awards is a source, we'll need LINKS and such. Copy/Pasting info from sites like that... Having LINKS to reviews... Any notes on any of the article things I've outlined out, or adding more to the outline.

All that is what I'm looking for research help with. I can then copy/paste it onto the wiki if folks like.

I'll check and update when info's dropped here.
Thanks!

Here's a link to a listing of the 2010 ENnie nominations. BASH! is listed under the Best Rules heading.

http://www.enworld.org/forum/news/28173 ... 010-a.html

I'll take a look at some other rpg wiki entries and see what I can contribute.
