One of my players is playing a speedster and he brought up this;
One of my players wrote:If you build a 40 point character (so forfeiting 10 hero points/2 hero dice), you could do a character that hits like a battleship nine times per page (at -2 dice). Even though the flaws are obvious (mentally vulnerable, mediocre area and ranged attacks), I still feel like this might be (a) overpowered and (b) * annoying as a player to wait on one dude taking up nine times as many combat actions as you.
Brawn 5 (10)
Agility 5 (10)
Mind 1 (2)
Paired Weapons 2
Swift Strike 2
Super Speed 5
Armor 4
Special Attack 5
- Variable
Stats: 22
Powers: 18
I feel doing either Super Speed or Intense Training is not so bad (even though you're still talking 2 or 3 max-damage attacks per page), but when these are both maxed you get a horrible action stack because it ends up multiplicative.
While he was wrong on the 9, since Swift Strike is only once a page, he did raise a fundamentally good point.
A 40 point speedster can really upset this game, as we are seeing it.
Changed the word "panel" to "page" as I intended it to work.
Each page you can make an additional hand-to-hand attack,
either with a weapon in each hand, or unarmed attacks, but
both are made at a -1 Dice penalty.

New printing!? Very cool. Sorry I'm new, is there somewhere where there's a posting about when this new printing is coming? If I bought a PDF, will I have to buy another one?
