Enhancements/Limitations on LINKED powers

With LINKED powers, are Enhancements and/or Limitations added individually to each power - therefor costing the Enhancement pts or giving the Limitation pts for EACH Linked power?
OR
When building a Linked power group - do you *pay* only ONCE for an Enhancement and/or Limitation, with that Enhancement/Limitation effecting BOTH/all powers Linked? Making it so that there is no way to Enhance or Limit one of the powers in a Linked set then?

The core rules do not say specifically. However, they DO say that Linked is "similar" to multi-power. And multi-power notes: "Any power enhancements or limitations must be added to each individual power."
Further... I ask because Linked also notes that if one power in the link has range, or Burst effect, BOTH must have this effect. [emphasis mine]
So.... like Enhancements/Limitations, would you pay for the Range/Area each individually or only once for the Linked set of powers?


The language of the rules all leads me to think that you pay for each under Linked individually. But I'm not sure if that's inline with the spirit of the rule cost-break...

Step 1. Find out whichever power costs more points, including any enhancements, range, area, etc.

Step 2. Add +2 points to that for the Linked enhancement. The second power has the same range, area, etc.

You're finished. Note you can only have 2 powers linked together.

Hi, I've look through the posts but cant find if this has been answered.

What if the powers to be linked are the same cost.

For example I want to link Boost Brawn 3(x3 Damage - No soak) to Growth 3 - A 5 point power? Or would I have to Get Growth 4 then link boost for a 6 point power?

It would just be a 5 point, one does not have to be more expensive than the other to apply a link, but if one is, the link is added to that powers cost.
